ein sehr gut geführtes charmantes Hotel!
Pros:

Das Hotel ist gediegen und befindet sich direkt an de Hauptstraße des Viertels, unweit des Farmers Market.
Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für einen Obulus wurde mir ein Upgrade in ein Luxuszimmer angeboten.
Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig in Buffetform, mit normalem Besteck und Porzellangeschirr. Das wird zeitnah abgeräumt.

Cons:

Old Strathcona ist das Ausgehviertel hauptsächlich für Studenten, dementsprechend stark ist auch der Geräuschpegel spätabends und auch nachts. Das Hotel spendiert vorsorglich Ohrstöpsel, die als Betthupferl getarnt auf dem Nachtschränkchen liegen.
Der Parkplatz fürs Auto ist das Parkhaus des Schwesternhotels Varscona und ist gut 300 m entfernt. Vallet Parking wird angeboten, habe ich aber abgelehnt.

Cons:

I booked for two bed two person room, and they gave us a two person one bed room, and quite uncomfortable. The personnel was very helpful and the next day they changed us to a two beds room. It looked strange that according to the front desk, this same thing happen a number of times already

I travel once a year to Alberta and will not stay at this hotel again.
Pros:

Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Parking is not free and it is expensive. Location is terrible with a lot of homeless people on the streets and there is a night club just next door that had LOUD MUSIC going on Saturday night till 3 am Sunday morning.

Clean sheets and facilities, nice view and very accessible to many great locations in whyte ave. Staff are nice and friendly!

Cons:

Parking was a little confusing - we didn't really know where to park and if we would have asked the front desk first, we had to park on the street (which is hard to do) or find a spot somewhere else. I also think the parking fee for a day is a little expensive. Breakfast was okay, good selection but I think the potatoes where quite salty.

Lastly, I think the pillows provided for the king room is quite small - wish it had king size pillows as well.

Pros:

Comfortable room, very good breakfast. Liked the small touches such as earplugs (for the Whyte noise lol), bottle of water and Nespresso coffee. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the look of the hotel, very clean and great staff.

Cons:

It advertised room service but there is none and the lounge menu had changed without notice.
