Pros:

the staff are very friendly, the room was spacious with amazing views

Cons:

they did not top up the coffee and milk each day, but when asked they were more than happy to give them to me.

Perfect location with an amazing view, but just needed some minor upgrades to room
Pros:

Location was spot on, the view was amazing but the room was a bit dated and certainly needed some love and updating, especially the bathroom which was of very average standards and looked like the bottom of the door was rotted away and the water from the shower over the bath just went everywhere.

Cons:

The bathroom - very outdated and unloved.

Cons:

The age of the property is really showing. Some renovations are underway that when completed will provide a fresh look . However they have the feeling of a “quick fix” that may not stand the test of time.

Disappointing for such a stunning location.
Pros:

Location was beautiful

Cons:

TVs didn’t have netflix or internet connectivity. Some of the channels also didn’t work. Some mould growth and paint chipping in the bathroom. Kitchen benches were dirty upon arrival.

Rude receptionist
Cons:

I opted for a premium room with ‘ stunning sea side views’ but I checked in and there was extensive construction going on in front of the hotel on the beach which was loud. They should have informed guests about this ahead of the stay. I asked to be transferred to a garden room to avoid the noise for the same discounted rate available on their website and they refused to offer me the same rate and instead asked me to pay the same as the premium seaside view room . The receptionist on duty was very rude and unprofessional and said I can leave but that I couldn’t get my money back and would have to argue with booking.com about it. This is extremely unprofessional as booking.com didn’t take payment the hotel did and booking.com never would’ve given me my money back. I also asked to speak to a manger and the receptionist disconnected the phone call instead of transferring me. I eventually got my money back directly off the hotel after insisting I speak to manager but guests should not be treated like this or have to put up with major contraction works. The rooms also felt dated and not very clean. Check if construction works are going on before going and even then wouldn’t reccomend

Location, we booked a ocean view and didn’t get it, we overlooked the park

Cons:

Bathroom was not clean, shower had visible mould, no house keeping during our stay, we had to ask for clean towels, overall for the price we thought there would have at least been a room clean

Cons:

The air conditioning was frustratingly set to a chilly 20 degrees during winter. Despite our attempts to raise the temperature to a more comfortable 27+, it seemed the master setting was locked, causing it to revert back to 20 degrees multiple times. Feeling exasperated, we reached out to reception for assistance. Unfortunately, even their efforts to adjust it were futile, as it returned to 20 degrees once again.

Would consider staying somewhere different until rooms receive renovations.

Bathrooms need upgrading. Mouldy, dirty, hand basin leaked, toilet roll holder not connected to wall. Shower over bath not practical. Water pressure poor. No ventilation with base of bathroom doors rotting.
