The Westin Kierland Villas, Scottsdale

We stay here each year and its always a great fit for our family. The rooms are nicely kept and spacious. The kitchen is so great for easy breakfast and lunches. We use the bbq area which is very clean and well stocked with utensils. The shuttle takes us to Safeway for groceries and the nearby Kierland Comons for shopping and restaurants. We booked a cabana at the main resort which was reasonably priced and great service. Drinks and food were overpriced so a $450 bill for lunch was hard to swallow. Eat in your villa beforehand. The villa pools were jam packed and it was too hard to find seats plus very little shade. So we often turned back because it was just too crowded and families got there super early to hold chairs even though they werent there. The staff shouldn't allow that to happen. But its a great place to stay with a family. Great beds, clean, nice kitchen (no oven!)and easy access to main resort.

Uneventful, other than the dust storm. Would have been nice if more than 1 pool.

The location was nice. The sister property the Westin Resort and Spa was fantastic. We enjoyed the free on demand shuttle, amenities and weekend family party. We really enjoyed the pool, lazy river, fresh tasting lunch and helpful staff there. The room fit our needs very well. There were enough towels and we asked for an extra duvet/comforter and they were attentive and it was still warm from the dryer.

Wonderful stay! Can’t wait to come back.

Fairly quiet. Close to a lot of things. Staff is amazing! Even the landscapers are awesome and polite!

Disappointed & Not Worth the Investment

We are currently staying at this villa and are extremely disappointed with the experience so far. On the day we arrived, my boyfriend got locked out on the balcony due to a faulty security bar that fell when the door closed behind him. I was out grocery shopping, and he was stuck outside in the heat for over an hour!

When we unpacked, we realized we’d been placed in an ADA-accessible room. While we respect the need for accessible accommodations, it would’ve been nice to be told in advance. The closet rod is so low that all my dresses are dragging on the ground!

That evening, the cable went out for hours, and we had been looking forward to watching the NBA Finals in our room. Instead, we had to leave and find a sports bar.

This morning, we discovered the cooktop is broken, so we couldn’t even make breakfast & now we have to wait for them to fix it or give us a new room.

Bottom line: everything feels like it’s falling apart. If you’re considering a timeshare here – DON’T! Owners seem to be placed in the worst, most neglected units. This experience has been frustrating, inconvenient, and definitely not the relaxing getaway we expected.

Good family vacation spot. Not a place for a romantic getaway. Rooms are spacious and functional. Lots of kids around the property. Overall the property was very well kept. Check in 4pm check out 10 am is ridiculous The property was very full which was surprising for summertime Phoenix

Stay was good the push from the cleaning crew to get out of the room before check out time was rude
