Don't do breakfast accommodation only.
Getting in and out if the property when no one there.
Didn't get to stay as it was overbooked and they had no more rooms available.
A very nice comfortable stay, yes theres wear and tear in the room but it's a village pub hotel room. Staff amazingly friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
Beds a little soft but still slept very well.
Stayed here on a quick stop over while on a trip back home to visit family.
The room was immaculate, a decent size, with an unbelievably comfortable bed and a really good shower.
The room is above a busy village pub, so there's the sounds of laughter and daftness occasionally drifting upstairs, but not enough to disturb sleep once you're in that big bed. I swear I've not slept so well in ages.
No complaints at all. Its a lovely wee place.
Friendly staff and very dog friendly. Great value for money. Clean and tidy with a good size bed (it is as big as the room) plenty of tea and coffee and storage.
Double standard rooms are tight to have a medium dog stay but for 2 nights it was manageable. The mattress is very soft, but still comfortable.
Nice clean room, comfy bed, smart tv
and very friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing!
Location, comfortable bed and bedding, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, helpful and kind hosts.
Nothing.
Nothing
Told me the room wasn’t available after driving 140 miles. No apologies just left me without a room for the evening. Absolutely terrible
Never got to stay there because they said they hadn't our booking for 2 nights although booked months ago and confirmed by booking.com. Turning up tired at 9pm after a long day and being told there wasn't a room was very stressful. Lost the next morning of our stay because we had to return to sort out the next nights accommodation with them. Won't be back.
Local pub accommodation. No evening meals or breakfast but we knew that in advance. We were able to bring our dog which was perfect. The room was clean and water hot. Comfy beds. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
A little noisy at night as it’s on the road and we had to keep the window open as it was so hot, also it is above the bar, so some noise is inevitable really. It was a Saturday night.
Location and comfortable bed
Noise from bar but that stopped when closed. Cleanliness for bathroom needs addressed
Arrived at 7pm after a 330 mile drive.
No off street parking
Then told they don’t do any food - a hotel/pub that doesn’t do food is a first !!
Booked a twin room for me and my son. On arrival was shown to possibly the smallest double room I’ve ever seen. Was told there were no twin rooms and it was a Booking.com issue which I doubt. No helpful assistance at all. Wanted me to seek a refund from booking.com even though I paid by credit card on arrival. Ended up getting a refund in cash and had to find accommodation elsewhere which was now at a premium rather than an early booking price. Cost us an extra £100 at the premier inn but worth every penny over The Village Inn Seaham
Really bad experience
Nothing my room was not available as it was already occupied.
Had to find alternative accommodation at 6.30pm.
