Pros:

The hotel is really well decorated and I love the Rooftop onsen. Although I was asked to cover up my tattoo or go during odd hours. The location is superb as we can walk to many eateries.

Cons:

It was my birthday but unfortunately the hotel staff politely explained that there aren't additional gestures.

Nice accommodations in the heart of Fukuoka!
Pros:

Good location for our requirements. Quiet neighborhood but easy reach by foot to many restaurants and shopping. Bus and train were very accessible.

Cons:

Automated checkin and checkout was a bit impersonable but there was always helpful staff around. Breakfast uses a ticket system so if you are staying for a week you need to make sure to have the correct ticket for each day...

Hôtel agréable mais sans plus
Pros:

L'hôtel se trouve à 15-20 minutes à pieds de la gare Hakata, du centre commercial Canal City et d'autres lieux d'intérêt. La chambre était élégante, la salle de bain était spacieuse.

Cons:

Plusieurs employés sont présents au niveau du lobby de l'hôtel, en revanche nous n'avons pas compris pourquoi ils sont si nombreux, car le check in et le check out s'effectuent en autonomie sur une machine. Nous avions demandé à des employés s'ils proposaient le service "Takkyubin", une employé nous avait confirmé qu'ils le proposaient, puis un autre nous a dit le contraire, nous étions confuses. Finalement, on nous a indiqué que ce service était disponible au 7/11, collé à l'hôtel. Nous n'avons pas compris pourquoi un hôtel d'un tel standing ne proposait pas ce service et n'a pas essayé de nous aider davantage.

Comfortabel hotel gunstig gelegen bij Hakata station.
Pros:

Comfortabel hotel dicht bij Hakata station. Goed ontbijt. Behulpzaam personeel dat voor ons uitzocht wat de treinstoringen waren door de tyfoon. En de shuttlebus naar het station. Alles gaat exact op geplande tijd!

No transparent policies
Pros:

The rooms were spacious and amenities were more than adequate. Breakfast was also great one of the best I've had in Japan. Although its 800 meters from Hakata station, they provide a shuttle bus in the morning. There's also a convenience store on the ground floor. There's a grocery and a 24 hour pharmacy nearby. A seafood market is also a few minutes walk.

Cons:

I really didn't like how the staff answered our queries. We booked 3 rooms for 5 nights. Then some of us are coming back for another night, so we wanted to leave just 3 pieces of luggage. They denied the request saying it's not in their policy to keep luggage. I told them where the policy was and why it was not discussed upon check-in. They didn't have an answer. Also, they were just accepting delivery by luggage couriers! If it was discussed during check-in, I would have made arrangements for baggage storage. After insisting and having discussions for over 30 minutes which delayed our trip and check out, they finally accepted but told us that they don't normally do this. I told them to post that policy so it's not misleading to your customers. This ruined our experience with this hotel.
