The ocean key resort review
Pros:

The kitchen was nice had all the utensils. Easy access to the boardwalk and activities.

Cons:

The boardwalk from our hotel was closed off, not easy access to beach. The first day we informed the front desk about air conditioning problem .they did a easy fix but not completely fix it. The jacuzzi was not working.

Pros:

I loved the room set up. It was very spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping staff were all friendly and had smiles on their faces.

Cons:

The attitude of the front desk staff. They looked tired and unorganized. Even though one person said that she had worked there for a few years,she didn't show it.

I like the location of this hotel because of its close proximity to the marina.

Cons:

On this stay, my particular room, had lots of issues. The water in the shower would not shut off completely leaving to a drizzle and splashing sounds all night long. The air conditioning and air handler were obviously having some issues. The air-conditioning ran 24/7 and the air handler had a rumbling or vibrating noise along with it. Constant noise from the air conditioning. Also, there were little things like a broken towel holder in the bathroom, and the world‘s slowest elevators. The walls of this hotel are also very thin. You will know if your neighbors are on their honeymoon.

Location from the beach was great. Across the street from ocean front.

Pizza shop of the first floor makes it convenient for late nights.

Self Linen service. Hours available daily and you can swap out linen.

Beds were comfortable.

Cons:

Parking is horrible only because the buildings pillars are right in the middle of parking spaces. Also they are in the middle of trying to drive and navigate in the parking garage. Big vehicles have to be extremely careful.

Elevator takes long.

Linen on bed had one stain.

Pros:

The resort was located close to the beach and within walking distance of many shops and eateries.

Cons:

The staff did not extend a warm welcome when we checked in. We were not greeted and assistance was only offered after we initiated contract. The rooms were clean but dated. The facility itself needs an overhaul.
