Great family stay close in the city with the great Olde charm
Pros:

The older buildings offer a lovely sense of history. Location is very easy to walk to city and other local attractions.
The rooms are tidy and equipped with the basics.

Cons:

The only issue was the noise from people at the bar downstairs -but I’ll add it was very promptly closed at 11pm

Dated but comfortable
Pros:

Staff were absolutely lovely. The rooms could definitely do with a renovation. The lighting is so dark in the rooms even with the lights on i had to use a torch to see what was in my bags. With a coat of white pain on the walls inside to lift the dated interior or would make such a huge difference. Still it’s a great location both restaurants nearby were lovely and even though we were there only a night I would recommend.

Helpful staff but disappointing bathroom facilities
Pros:

Great location and kitchen facilities. The room size was also good, and the beds comfortable. Staff were incredibly helpful and responsive.

Cons:

There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and the shower curtain was inadequate, leading to flooding of the bathroom floor.
