Excellent experience at the hunfeld
Pros:

excellent experience at the hunfeld. Super comfy beds and wonderful room! Functional bathroom, good breakfast even if not very varied (the same every day), but the kindness of the girls serving compensated. Nice old architectural style of the building and best location for my goal since my meeting venue was next door

Absolutely fabulous
Pros:

The Hunfeld is een uitstekend hotel in het centrum van Utrecht gelegen aan een plein genaamd Mariaplaats. De kamer is mooi met een ruim en comfortabel twee persoons bed en is voorzien van een goed werkende airco en een badkamer met douche en wastafel. Het personeel van het hotel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer heeft een leuk uitzicht op het genoemde plein. Op het plein vind je een aantal restaurants en café's met gezellige terrassen waar je op zomeravonden lekker kan genieten van een hapje en een drankje. De Utrechtse binnenstad en de grachten bevinden zich op loopafstand en deze zijn ruim voorzien van een groot aantal leuke en gezellige eet- en drinkgelegenheden waar je een ruime keuze hebt uit diverse nationale en internationale gerechten. Kortom voor ieder wat wils.

An Expensive Disappointment
Pros:

We booked a Superior Double Room expecting the room to be similar to the photograph on this questionnaire and on the website. In fact it was a room with sloping ceilings, a view over a rather unimpressive courtyard and glimpses of the Dom Tower through the skylight. If that is a 'Superior" room then the other rooms must be ever more unwelcoming. The room was quiet and the location was ideal. Staff were friendly, but apparently the phone in the room on which is written "lift to contact reception" is only for decoration.
Overall an expensive disappointment .

Shower in the tower
Pros:

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is central, next both to railway station , to the historic centre of town and to restaurants and bars. The decoration and interior style is aligned with the architecture of the building, and very cosy. Coffee and tea available in the room.

Cons:

The curtains of 2 small windows in the room opening over the bed did not work, so early in the morning we had sun direct in our eyes. Bring eye mask! Also, it would have been nice to have a small fridge, the room had sufficient space for it.

Το ξενοδοχείο έκανε δέσμευση του συνολικού ποσού της διαμονής μας από την πιστωτική μας κάρτα, λίγες μέρες πριν τη διαμονή μας για λόγους ασφαλείας. Στη συνέχεια μας ζητήθηκε να εξοφλήσουμε με νέα συναλλαγή,μόλις φτάσαμε, ενώ το ποσό παρέμεινε δεσμευμένο στην πιστωτική μας κάρτα μέχρι να αναχωρήσουμε. Όταν διαμαρτυρηθηκαμε μας απάντησαν ότι ήταν δικό μας θέμα το διαθέσιμο υπόλοιπο για τις συναλλαγές μας και επέμειναν στην άμεση εξόφληση.
