We had a wonderful stay at the Kimpton Hotel Fontenot! From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. The location was perfect, the happy hour was a great bonus, and we loved how incredibly dog-friendly the hotel is.
The highlight of our stay was our favorite valet, Ross. His kindness, professionalism, and outstanding customer service made a lasting impression. He always greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

Front desk team, Jerná, Raye, and Moe were spectacular in helping me with last minute requests for a meeting taking place at the hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, centrally located, and made it easy to explore everything in the area.
What truly made our experience exceptional was the staff. Semaj and Jesseca went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and Lionel, Jacob, and Art were all incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made a lasting impression.
The food and drinks were delicious, and we really enjoyed the social hour—it was a fun way to relax and connect after a day of exploring.
Overall, an outstanding hotel with a fantastic team, great amenities, and a perfect location. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent stay. Service was spectacular. Have stayed at great hotels and the service here was comparable to the best hotels. Also, great location near all the main areas but nicely set aside. Hotel suite was spacious and well appointed. Lobby and restaurants were very nice. Would highly recommend and this stay will cause me to look for Kimptons when traveling.
First time in New Orleans and we experienced the Southern Hospitality right at Hotel Fontenot! From checking in to checking out, our stay was nothing but pleasant. Jerná at the front desk deserves a shoutout - thank you!
We had an excellent experience! The valet Russ was so kind and efficient when we needed our car! The entire hotel staff made our first trip to NOLA memorable.

Jerna, at the front desk made me feel like family from the second I checked in. Loved her! The familiar face was there to greet me, hear about my trip and what I had planned for each day. She was always eager to give me recommendations and ensure everything was comfortable. Ross was a gem helping is with our bogs, Sonny at Gospel coffee, and our bartender Jonah at Peacock were quick and attentive. They were ready to help us and share their knowledge of their crafts.
The staff made my first visit to New Orleans unforgettable, and I look forward to visiting the city and the hotel again for an annual reprieve.

My family and I stayed at Kimpton Hotel Fontenot, New Orleans, this weekend so we could attend a family member's 50th birthday party and the staff was phenomenal!!! Henry, Vaughn, and a cute little lady with blond curls went out of their way to make sure our stay was a comfortable one. Typically for me to do a review means something went terribly right or terribly wrong and I'm happy to say things went very right. Clean rooms with a boutique vibe made my day. It seems like no one cares about their jobs nowadays but these individuals were professional and friendly. Just want to say thank you to the crew that worked the weekend of April 17-19.

I stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Fontenot for a work trip in April 2026, and overall had a really positive experience. The hotel itself has a great atmosphere modern, stylish, and comfortable, making it a nice place to come back to after a busy day.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the stay feel more personal and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the door attendant, Jacob (“JC”), who went above and beyond. He was consistently helpful with directions, offered great local recommendations, and took the time to check in on me and my team throughout our stay. That level of attentiveness really made a difference.
If you’re traveling for business (or even leisure), I’d definitely recommend staying here especially if you appreciate thoughtful service and a friendly, supportive team.
