The room was pretty clean, although the bed was uncomfortable.

Cons:

At checkout, a mistake was made with a purchase I had made that was charged to my room even though I had paid for it in cash. Instead of saying “oh let’s try to figure this out, our apologies”, I was immediately treated like a criminal, and I had to send an extract of my bank account for said purchase. I usually avoid writing negative reviews - but that experience shook me. Very rude treatment…

Drankautomaat in de lobby werkte niet, maar wel een gratis cola gekregen aan de bar

Cons:

Te zachte matras, met rugpijn als gevolg. Tweede dag ontbijt beneden alle peil. Om 8u15 waren de eitjes al op, werden niet meer bijgevuld. Niet genoeg brood, pistolets en ontbijtkoeken, mensen die binnen kwamen na 8u15 moesten bijna half uur wachten om iets te kunnen eten. Spinnenwebben in de badkamer, op handdoeken nog vlekken die wellicht niet meer uitgaan met wassen, maar dan moet je die niet meer in de gastenkamers leggen

Wat een tegenvaller!
Pros:

Het bed was het enige wat goed was

Cons:

Je moet met je koffers de trap op omdat er geen lift is, toen ik vroeg of er iemand was die kon helpen was er niemand zei ze bij de receptie

De airco maakte een herrie en een leeg koelkastje maakte ook een rotgeluid.

Locatie, vrij parkeren zolang je wilt, dicht bij zee

Niet elke dag schone bekers of glazen op de kamer, ook maar 2 cupjes koffie voor 3 dagen, koffiekopjes worden niet vervangen na gebruik

Lekker ontbijt!!! goede Parking! vriendelijk!!

de kamers wonden niet opgemaakt als je dat zelf niet mee deelt, dit was ons niet gemeld toen we s'avonds aan kwamen! we waren laat aan gekomen nog wat gegeten en direct in gaan slapen zonder de kleine papiertjes te lezen!
ook in de eetzaal worden de tafels niet direct afgeruimd, het was er niet druk in de zaal!! De matras is aan vervanging toe, rolde steeds naar het midden!

Prima hotel voor de prijs, echter niet gastvrij.
Pros:

De locatie. Makkelijk gelegen tussen leuke stad Leiden en het strand van Katwijk aan Zee. Beide met de fiets heel goed te bereiken.

Cons:

De ontvangst was belabberd. Ik had een bevestiging dat ik vroeg kon inchecken. Meneer aan de balie was niet welwillend om hieraan mee te werken. Bij het ontbijt zijn telkens te weinig grote koppen en glazen, dus de koffie loopt telkens over bij alle gasten die dan maar een klein kopje pakken. Als je vraagt of er nog grote koppen/glazen zijn, dan zeggen ze "zitten in de vaatwasser". De meesten medewerkers hebben geen idee van klantvriendelijkheid, echter zijn er ook enkelen die wel weten hoe het hoort. Dus daardoor op dag 2 toch een beter gevoel gekregen. Je bent dus echt compleet afhankelijk van de degenen die op de die dag dienst hebben.
Verder voel je je geen gast. Kamer wordt niet schoongemaakt en er komen ook geen schone handdoeken. Dat zijn eigenlijk toch de dingen die men verwacht bij een hotel.
