It was okay. I don’t think it’s a five star hotel anymore.
Pros:

Breakfast was okay

Cons:

There is some kind of mould, deterioration or dirt around the exterior base of the shower which was very off putting. I stayed in a studio Loft.

Pleasant but expensive
Pros:

The location was amazing, the staff were lovely and the room was comfy. The a la carte breakfast was nice, and I was very happy to have not paid for the 38 AUD per person per night breakfast fee on booking.com. The art around the hotel was really nice, and the oroginal / restored parts of the hotel were really interested and nice.

Cons:

It was frustrating that the breakfast and parking weren't included for the price we paid for the room. We didn't like the modern aspects of the decour of the hotel it was a bit garish and early 2000s for our taste.
