We frequently stay at this hotel and we only had issues at this visit. The cleanliness is super and the staff are friendly and helpful most of the time.
We had dreamed about an air conditioned sleep for days before and yet the air conditioning unit in our room was defective. The receptionist said there was nothing that could be done as the maintenance man did not work weekends. For a 20/7 hotel that was a weak excuse.
brilliant place to stay.
i liked everything
Breakfast wasn't great, tastless. The room was nice and clean and very comfortable. more milk required for the hot drinks and maybe a biscuit or two. Be able to have book car for parking for extra day whilst away from hotel
wating for a hot drink to be served by reception staff who were busy taking in new customers. No free cold water dispenser to top up water bottle
Good location and excellent value for money. Great breakfast included in the price.
The staff were excellent, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and we slept well. The accessible bathroom was very good.
The food offering can be described as ordinary at best, verging on poor. In the evening, I ordered a Katsu curry (which is usually described as a chicken fillet "smothered" in curry sauce). You couldn't have "smothered" a cream cracker with the measly portion I was offered.
Breakfast was typical buffet. If you're lucky, serving trays have been recently topped-up. If not you go without or endure scrambled eggs which are "tired".
