Excellent stay, highly recommend.
Pros:

Great location to the Gold Coast sports and leisure complex, only around 8 mins walk. 7-eleven and red rooster are also walking distance and the sports club on site is only 3 mins walk and had great fresh dinner options. Very quiet at night.

Cons:

Beds were a bit hard but we slept really well… so it didn’t affect our stay at all.

Okay but reasonably off expectations
Pros:

Some of the staff were exceptionally friendly and genuinely went out of their way to accommodate our requests. They did their best to assist with an earlier check-in, and when that wasn't possible, they kindly provided access to a shower and changing room after my sporting event, which was greatly appreciated. Another staff member also offered complimentary laundry, which was a thoughtful gesture and very helpful. Their willingness to help and provide excellent customer service made a positive difference to our stay.

Cons:

The main disappointment during our stay was the breakfast. At $45 per person when not included with your stay, it did not offer good value for money. While it wasn't bad, the variety was very limited and fell well short of what you would expect from a hotel advertising a full breakfast. There were only a few basic bread options available (such as raisin bread, sandwich bread and crumpets), with no bagels, baguettes or sourdough. There were also several common breakfast items missing, including roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, avocado, smoked salmon and granola for the yogurt. Overall, the selection felt quite basic and could be significantly improved.

Another downside was that the hotel did not offer lunch or dinner that guests could purchase. This was particularly inconvenient because there are very few dining options nearby. Apart from an RSL-style bistro and a Red Rooster, there wasn't much choice, which was disappointing compared to the variety available in Sydney.

The beds were also not particularly comfortable, which affected the quality of our sleep.

One aspect that was frustrating was the check-in and check-out times. Standard check-in was at 2:00 pm and check-out was at 10:00 am, making for a relatively short stay. We needed to stay later in the day, and while the hotel kindly provided access to a makeshift changing room and shower to help accommodate us, it wasn't an ideal substitute for having access to the room. I do appreciate that the staff genuinely tried to assist and were accommodating, but it still made the overall experience less convenient.

No resturant facilities, and having a disability that required a walker was unable to access lift as no one answered intercom for 15 minutes. My wife had to walk to stairs entrance and was still unable to find anyone to activate lift for some time. Bed was not even queen size.

Handy for footy.
Pros:

Stayed there as was close to footy ground, AFL. Clean, tidy, comfy bed. Not much in the area in the way of restaurants or pubs though. Twenty minute walk to train station, 15-20 minute walk to People First Stadium.
