Location is nice
We checked in on August 21 in room 602, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing.
The air conditioner was extremely noisy and did not work properly. Every time I tried to change the settings or turn it off, within about five seconds it would reset to 72°F and start making noise again. The maintenance staff member who came to check it repeatedly insisted that I was using it incorrectly, even though he tried himself and got exactly the same result. He then came up with another explanation that did not make sense and eventually simply disconnected the AC. Fortunately, the weather allowed us to sleep with the window open, but it was very unpleasant to be treated as if we were imagining the problem instead of having it properly addressed.
The room was also not properly cleaned when we arrived: there were hairs on the towels and a peanut on the floor. The peanut was never removed during our entire stay and was still there when we left.
Rooftop restaurant and bar view of the city is amazing.
We were very lucky to get upgraded to a spacious double room with a large living area and a kitchenette. The room was very comfortable and made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were also friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed 5 nights in August 2026. Had a lovely, large, suite with a balcony. It was a corner room on the 12th floor and the balcony overlooked the Empire State Building. Extremely quiet property catering to business clientele and families. Did not try the restaurant. Most if not all rooms have kitchenettes which is very convenient. Classic subdued decor. Very easy to get around with the various subway stops nearby and close to LGA because of the midtown tunnel.

Cheveux (en quantité) sur les pouf. Ils ont fait des travaux dans ma chambre et sont repartis en laissant la chambre salle. Dommage car l’établissement est vraiment top. Faut réclamer la plaque électrique et le matériel de cuisson qui n’est pas donné d’office.

The coffee provided in the room was undrinkable. The process for extending our stay by one night was a little bit convoluted and cumbersome.
