Very close to wedding location (closest accommodation)
Breakfast was amazing, included in room fare. Huge breakfast
The bedding configuration wasn’t what we paid for (2 queen beds were booked but received one king bed and we had to sleep with our toddler in the same bed). They let us know that the configuration had changed via email and said there was a travel cot available in our room but we didn’t have one in our room when we got there. We got back late from wedding and didn’t chase this up.
We did ask for an early check in but we were running late and they didn’t charge us for it, which was amazing.
Staff were lovely, just doing the best they could whilst they have renovations going on.
Some of the facilities were a bit iffy during construction. Also much of the main ammenities were closed such as the pool and spa for Reno’s too.
Hopefully this shouldn’t be for too much longer.
Location and views were great.
For accommodation on the lower level there are too many steps to carry bags and cases down and up. Access should be via a path at the same level as the lower car park. Particularly bad for elderly couples.
Peaceful outlook, friendly staff
Noisy room, water heater going off all night and thin walls to neighbouring room
Just one night at clear mountain is all it takes to refresh and rejuvenate! We hit the day spa for 90 min, had dinner and brekkie in the restaurant and breathed. So close too!
Lovely location. Private, clean and comfortable. Food was delicious!
Wifi was hopeless!
Peaceful location
Stairs trying to get luggage to room
Clean, tidy and affordable
The location and views are fabulous.
The walls are paper thin. We paid for one of the higher priced rooms but could hear the telephone conversation of the person next door.
The pool was disappointing and there were only 2 sun loungers for the entire hotel.
The restaurant is under renovation but the food was underwhelming and extraordinarily expensive for what was on offer, particularly the breakfast.
nothing was extra special .
Lovely place! Great location & lovely staff!
It’s definitely not a place to take a suitcase! Heaps of stairs and parking is quite far away from where you stay. Apart from that nice place!
Nothing
Beds are comfy and location is obviously lovely in the valley
Man is this place run down. Been here a few times over the last decade or so and it just gets more and more run down. Hopefully as it transitions into Peppers, they will fix the place up. Rooms are run down and overall resort is run down. Bathroom door didn't shut and the taps make a piercing sound through the walls whenever other people turn on any water including ours. For some reason there is 2 dogs on site which are what I'm assuming belong to a person who lives on site. That would be fine if they didn't bark at all hours through the night. Was awful. We mainly stayed there for the balcony restaurant which is closed but not notified of that until after you book... funny that. The temporary restaurant is terrible and food matches that situation. We wanted to book into the spa and reception couldn't even tell us if it was open and it was left to us to find out if they're on site spa was open..... we didn't even bother. Won't be back. Total crap now. Good luck peppers. Hopefully you turn the crappy mercure into a new haven.
