The area was nice, quiet and we felt very safe.
First off, we found the staff not that friendly and quite short and abrupt when we checked in. Very little info was given about the hotel or the hotel amenities. We had arranged for a parking space during our stay but little info was given how to get in and out of the parking garage! The parking is an underground parkade and so crazy tight! If you are not an experienced/great driver opt for the above ground parking! Our room had a lot of strange angles and the bathroom area was a bit off center so you had to be careful not to walk into the glass shower stall. The sink was very small with no counter on either side. So nowhere to put your toiletries. However it was clean but very stark and minimal. One the first day returning back to the hotel we discovered they gave our space to someone else. When I went up to reception to tell them there was so much confusion to get it sorted and again a bit surly.

Had breakfast two mornings - very slow to replenish fruit and fried foods on both mornings
Checkin staff Daniel allocated our room to the client in front of us due to mixing up our identities. Then rushed through the check in process with us - gave us no information about San Sebastian ( we heard him give extensive information and advice to other guests at check in). When I asked about the EASO parking arrangement, he said he had no information to give !!! We had booked and paid for a Superior room but i'm not sure that the room allocated to us (room 314) was in fact a Superior Room.
There was an odour coming from the drain in our shower and on one day when we returned having been absent from &am until 11pm, the entire room had a dreadful odour. When I brough this to the attention of reception staff, it was rectified and we did not experience this for the rest of our stay.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir haben ein Upgrade in eine Juniorsuite bekommen. Super Ausstattung. Frühstück war brilliant und reichlich. Das Personal sehr freundlich.
Modern and easy going

The property is so clean and we notice a beautiful smell as we walked in, not overpowering, just a clean fresh smell throughout the hotel. Everything about it was exceptional. Modern, fresh , tidy and welcoming.

The bed was so hard and uncomfortable, even after the reception staff put a mattress topper on we were unable to get a decent sleep and were it not for the prices of last minute hotel bookings in SS, we’d have moved hotel. The spa feels old and grimey. The rooftop pool is unheated and shallow. The wifi was non existent in our room and phone reception was rubbish so we couldn’t use the internet at all.
