You are seated by the staff and they are fab at clearing away empty plates and work hard
No fighting at silly am for sunbeds no towels on beds till 9am and geds are always available w
Entertanment team are awesome full on and enthusiastic
Bar staff work hard too in the evenings they take your drink order at your seats and bring them to you
During the day cups are frequently collected by staff so no wasps
Hotel overall is very clean
Rooms have TV fridge large wardrobe comfy beds a safe and air-conditioning
No noise after 12
The kids are catered for with a kids club and two smaller pools which the balls and inflatables are only allowed in not in main pool
The small town area is a 15minute walk with supermarket and souvenir shops
The views from the hotel across the sea and to the mountain are spectacular

Pros:

El trato del personal es excelente.

Cons:

More like a 3 star hotel.
Pros:

Just returned from a 5 night break, booked last minute. Overal it was a good stay but not sure I would return. Hotel is in a great location with a balcony overlooking the sea.
Our room was quite dated and in need of some renovating. Furniture was old and worn, chipped and not looking the best. Bathroom, overal was ok but toilet was shoehorned into a small alcove. I think a larger person might have struggled to use the toilet comfortably. On the plus side the bed was very comfy and slept well.
Found everywhere to be clean and staff were friendly.
Food, main restaurant had plenty of choice but I thought it was quite bland and not always appealing. Pool bar lunches, bread for sandwiches was always stale, left uncovered so always had flies hovering.
Pool, always managed to get a sunbed, seemed like you weren't able to have fun in the pool! No inflatables or balls allowed in the main pool, felt the lifeguards were always telling people off!
Felt more like a 3 star hotel.

Fantastic holiday
Pros:

Just come back from a fantastic holiday at this hotel , the bar staff are brilliant along with the hotel entertainment team , food was plentiful with plenty to offer for everyone. We were due to check out at 12 pm but our bus was picking us up at 3.20 , for 10 euros an hour we kept our room for abit longer , will definitely return. The hotel is very central to most things including the lido and the main shopping area .

Worst management team ive ever known
Pros:

I have never been to a hotel where the management is so poor and i travel alot, to say im shocked by the way my family has been treated is an understatement. This all started on my first day in the outside bar when one of my children asked for a drink of lemonade. The barmaid looked at me and shrugged her shoulders and said no were shut now. I was playing a bit at first just saying "come on its only a lemonade" and she started shouting at me, i obviously took offence to this and asked to speak to the bar manager( Jose). When he came over he was trying to usher me out as i tried to explain what had happened i just could not beleive this is management within the bahia principe organisation as ive been to a few of there hotels and never been disappointed. I immediately went to the hotel reception and got told the manager is not on site. Later that evening jose was at the main bar and he refused to serve me or my children, again i went and asked for a manager and got the same speil. Its now day 3 of my holiday and ive spent more time out of it than in it waiting to speak to a superior and ive paid to be all inclusive so me and the kids could enjoy the hotel, its an absolute joke of a place and i will be checking out in the morning and seeking a refund.
These staff need to go back to school and learn about hospitality

A lovely family holiday
Pros:

We booked very last minute and having stayed at a Bahia Principe in Costa Adeje, took our chances on this hotel- we’re glad we did. Some reviews were a little off putting, but I honestly can say they aren’t at all a true representation of the hotel. Our rooms were cleaned each day and you see members of staff cleaning the rooms wider hotel constantly. The staff members are all polite and courteous, always welcoming you with a smile. One of the biggest credits to the hotel is the entertainment team. Blue, Eri and Romen were worth their weight in gold. They truly made the atmosphere in the hotel such fun each day and night. Our daughter loved them! Food is varied and there are plenty of options even for fussy eaters. The later evening shows can be a bit hit and miss, but the entertainment team always start the night off with some fun like bingo or karaoke. If you are just looking for somewhere to relax and unwind, this is the perfect place. Don’t expect the Ritz, but we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Awful.
Pros:

⭐️ 4 STAR HOTEL? YOU’VE GOT TO BE JOKING.

I genuinely don’t know how this hotel has managed to get a 4-star rating because, based on our experience, it is nowhere near 4-star standard. In fact, calling it disappointing would be an understatement.

🍽️ FOOD — COLD, REPETITIVE & UNAPPETISING

The food was absolutely shocking. Cold, repetitive and completely uninspiring. Every day felt like the same food being reheated and put back out again. Yes, I managed to find something I could eat, but that’s hardly something to celebrate when you’re paying for a 4-star holiday.

The daytime restaurant was even worse. If you enjoy cold food, stale bread and eating alongside millions of flies, then you’ll probably love it.

Flies were everywhere around the food, which was disgusting and completely unacceptable from a hotel claiming to be 4-star.

🛏️ THE ROOMS — NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS

Do not be fooled by the photographs online.

The room we were given looked absolutely nothing like the bright, modern rooms advertised. Instead, it was full of dark, dated furniture and had the atmosphere of an elderly person’s residential complex.

And then there were the curtains — covered in mould.

Mould. In a room where families are expected to sleep.

How this is considered acceptable for a 4-star hotel is beyond me.

🏊 THE POOLS — DISGUSTING & UNSAFE

The pool area was probably the biggest concern.

The water was cloudy/milky, the bottom was gritty and there were visible black spots/marks throughout. There was also barely any noticeable chlorine smell.

Tiles were literally falling off inside the pool and around the pool area. My son cut his toe on one of the broken tiles.

The flooring around the pool was also ridiculously slippery. I personally witnessed a young boy fall and split his eyebrow open, and I saw numerous other people fall during our stay.

This isn’t just about the hotel looking dated anymore — these are genuine safety issues.

A family hotel should not have children falling and injuring themselves because basic maintenance and safety appear to have been neglected.

🎤 ENTERTAINMENT — ACTUALLY BRILLIANT

To give credit where it is due, the entertainment was brilliant. The entertainment team worked incredibly hard and there was always something going on. This was definitely one of the highlights of the holiday and the kids really enjoyed it.

👏 THE STAFF

The staff and catering team were also genuinely lovely, friendly and accommodating. They did their best and couldn’t have been nicer.

Unfortunately, friendly staff and good entertainment can’t compensate for a hotel that is clearly in need of serious investment, refurbishment, cleaning and maintenance.

THE BOTTOM LINE

This hotel feels like it has been living off its 4-star rating while the actual hotel has been left behind.

Dated rooms. Mouldy curtains. Cold and repetitive food. Flies around the food. Dirty-looking pools. Broken tiles. Slippery flooring. Children falling and getting injured.

Not to mention that the only lighting in the bedroom is 2 dingy lamps.

Ceiling in main reception falling down.

Flood in the room above us

That’s not a 4-star holiday.

That’s a hotel that desperately needs a serious refurbishment, proper maintenance and much higher standards of cleanliness and food quality.

If you’re booking this because you think you’re getting a 4-star experience, lower your expectations considerably.

Would we return?

Absolutely not.

Would I recommend it?

Not a chance.

For what we paid, we expected a 4-star hotel.

What we got was 4-star prices for what felt like a very tired 2-star experience.

The staff and entertainment deserve credit — the hotel itself absolutely does not.
