Lovely hotel in an excellent, central location. Friendly, helpful staff and dinner in the bar was excellent - didn't sample breakfast! Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Good, safe parking for our motorcyle.

Location and food
Room was very hot with no air conditioning the bed cover was too heavy for the conditions at the time of our stay. Benefits could be achieved in have a light weight cover available when conditions dictate

The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed for a single night’s stay. It was a little warm at times, but opening the windows and having a fan in the room helped a lot. The bathroom was excellent, with a particularly good shower. I also appreciated useful extras like an iron and ironing board provided in the room. The leisure facilities were a highlight, I really enjoyed the sauna and steam room, as well as the cold bucket experience, which was very refreshing. The lady at the leisure centre desk was also very helpful and welcoming. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-equipped stay with good facilities.
There are a lot of steps leading up to the entrance, which was quite difficult on arriving with luggage. Although I later noticed there is a baggage lift available, it wasn’t clearly signposted on arrival, and there was no offer of assistance with bags, which would have been helpful. The swimming pool is quite small, and when I went to use it there were children’s swimming lessons taking place, which meant there wasn’t much space available for swimming.
Location and parking
There was a bin bag full of garbage from previous guest in the room; hotel bar staff wasn’t really friendly and food made me sick next morning; at checkout, reception tried to charge me again, even though I had paid at checkin; room very old and in urgent need of renovation (no sockets beside the bad, furniture old including a chair that was not safe to sit); breakfast expensive and definitely not worth it, food no tasty at all; the gym equipment old and didn’t have the courage to use it. In overall my experience was very disappointing.

Nothing we didn't like...only thing as weather so warm not enough outside seating could possibly some be put out on the grass at front ??

The spa is not good enough for a 4 star hotel
Lovely location, super friendly leisure centre staff, we were made to feel welcome. Rooms were clean and food round the area was plentiful. Its an ideal place to use a base. Motorcycle parking was outside the hotel too.

Massive bed and big room. Great water pressure in the shower and great location to walk into Sligo. Also good off street parking.
