Hotel Nord Nuova Roma

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Nord Nuova in July, during a massive heat wave.

As an Alaskan, I was SO happy that the room had working AC! The room was very comfortable and clean. I had read reviews that the walls were thin and you could hear everything, however, this was not the case for us at all! Once we were in the room, we didn’t hear a thing. Our room was in the middle of the hotel, 4th floor overlooking other rooms in the courtyard area, so we didn’t receive any noise from the rooftop nor the street.

Every staff person that I encountered was incredibly friendly, and while breakfast wasn’t included in the cost of our room, we were able to get breakfast on the last day and pay on checkout.

I had to walk to the train station with my luggage, and that was a simple 10 minute trek (navigating sidewalks and traffic lights). There are also nice places to eat in and around the hotel.

My overall impression with this hotel is positive.

I would stay here again if I ever get the chance to stay in Rome another time.

Location, friendly staff

Room:
Room was quite large with lots of space for personal items. Bed was very comfortable and mattress firm.

Staff: Staff tried to be as helpful as possible although english could have been a little better.

Rooftop Deck: I loved the upstairs roof deck. It was a lovely view and the food and drinks were delicious.

Great location within walking distance of the main train station.
Rooms are nice and spacious with a generous bathroom.
Fantastic service from the staff including up at the rooftop garden bar

hotel lobby was impressive! breakfast was great..should do manual cappuccino instead of machine! ac was poor in a heat wave..would have paid surcharge to get ac that stayed on while out! breakfast selection was great. Room was small but efficient and well appointed. Beds were too soft but too tired to care. There is a fabulous rooftop terrace to enjoy the evening..could have used a fan!
But overall enjoyed stay and will return. Great location! I would have appreciated 2 free bottles of water included with room!

Super location near the station, good food and very reasonably priced. Near main attractions. Very comfortable room, cool and comfy bed.
Lobby and rooftop terrace, partly air conditioned, were lovely places to sit.

The hotel is very closed to Termini, this is its best argument. Breakfast is acceptable (every main cousines find 1 type of food, but I could not find any fish os seafood for breakfast). Rooms are acceptable (there are at a 3 stars-hotel level).

C'était notre 2e fois à cet hôtel et nous aimons profiter de la belle terrasse sur le toit. Le personnel est très attentif, et la chambre très confortable.

La stanza sempre fresca perché l’aria condizionata non si spegne se togli la scheda.
Colazione Ni.. molte cose non funzionano però prodotti buoni.

The hotel location was very nice. About a 10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel lobby was very beautiful. Breakfast was included and was amazing. All kinds of breakfast choices, from hot foods to cold foods and sweet treats. The rooftop restaurant and bar were lovely. It had an enclosed option with air conditioning and an outdoor patio area. Both with a beautiful view. Food and drinks were delicious. It was a great break from the busy streets of Rome.

Excellent hotel, near Rome Termini, Maryam is very helpful and super nice, she checked me in smoothly and informed me everything I needed to know. Great customer service, will definitely stay again.

I would not stay here again! The hotel is in a decent location. Close to Roma Termini. We stayed in a deluxe room which is more spacious than the standard room our friends were put in. The bathroom is much larger ( and nicer). The hotel is very clean. The best part is the rooftop bar and bartender. The rooms have no kind of sound proofing, you here Everything! That wasn’t even the worse part. Our room would not cool down! Our friends room was very cool. We notified the front desk, the first time she seemed confused but pull up a screen and turned down the temperature in our room. We came back a couple hours later, still warm. Eventually fell asleep…it was so hot my husband and I took turns getting up checking the thermostat (which looked like it had an error) until he decided to go downstairs to the front desk again. It’s like 1am. So hot we can’t sleep. He first went downstairs shirtless (shorts and sneakers). Guy refuses to help him. So he comes back up to the 5th floor grabs a shirt and goes back down. The guy was just rude, he had no interest in helping him. We literally slept with nothing on and blankets off. Still hot! Not worth what we paid!

Great lounges and tidy, very sufficient rooms! Location rocked.
