Disorganized Team and Zero Privacy
Pros:

I booked a suite, which is already quite expensive. I arrived shortly after 3pm and then was lied to about why my room wasn't ready. I had to sit in the lobby for an hour and kept following up myself as the receptionist had forgotten me. They finally offered me another room to nap in while waiting for my room to be ready, somewhere around 5pm. And then when I finally got to my room, I realize it was on the first floor (so, just above the street) with a perfect view of all the recycling bins, buses, takeaway spots). Additionally, the floor-to-ceiling windows were completely transparent from the street! I had to keep the curtains drawn when I was there so as not to make eye contact with pedestrians. It was awful.

I had stayed at 100 Shoreditch years ago and booked it again because the bedsheets were so amazing but this experience wasn't worth it at ALL. So expensive and for nothing. I will not return again.

Pros:

Our room was beautiful, very clean, you have everything you need within this hotel, the staff are always on hand to help, the rooftop bar and the cocktail bar are a vibe. We always stay here and it never disappointments. It so nice we are looking at booking our wedding here next year.

Nice hotel, great location.

Cons:

The surprise extra charge added to the bill on check out as a ‘service charge’. I have not experienced this with any other hotel. I’d rather the hotel be up front with costs from the beginning, rather than slipping extra profit opportunities later.
