When booking 5 rooms or more, guests will need to contact the hotel for group sales department. Guests can't book multiple reservations with the threshold of 4 rooms.
River Edge Inn is a Small-Dog Friendly Hotel that welcomes small dogs up to 50 lbs. Small dogs are charged at $40.00 plus tax NIGHTLY, per small dog and the guest is charged an additional and refundable $250.00 incidental deposit, per reservation. A maximum of two small dogs per guest room is permitted. Strictly no other kind of pet is permitted on property. Guests that do NOT register their small dog(s) are subject to a $500.00 plus tax penalty.
Small dogs may be left unattended in the guest room, however, no stayover amenities will be delivered by housekeeping if there is/are dog(s) in the guest’s room.
Moreover, if the small dog(s) become(s) a noise disturbance to other guests, or River Edge Inn management; front desk; or any employee, receives other dog-related complaints from the guest’s room, the guest must return to take their small dog(s) with them.
River Edge Inn will NOT release the $250 incidental deposit in the event of small dog(s) damaging the room and its contents by, but not limited to, urinating; fouling; hair-shedding etc., and/or causing a noise disturbance that is not attended to by the guest(s). Small dogs are permitted in specific rooms only; small dog-friendly rooms can be requested by contacting River Edge Inn's direct line (865) 436-9292. Dogs are NOT permitted in the office or breakfast area, or in the pool area, per public health laws.
Registered service animals, that are dogs, are welcome in accordance with current ADA standards. Emotional support animals, that are dogs, are NOT considered to be service animals by the ADA, or River Edge Inn. A guest, whose registered service animal is a noise disturbance or causes damage to the room and its contents as outlined above, will also be subject to the same $250.00 cleaning fee. We arrived with only one staircase for access to the 3rd floor without knowing this after requesting 1st floor due to concrete work. My mom is 70 and has a knee replacement and myself back issues. No offer to help and for 2 days no elevator access. Parking areas kept changing and we had to go walk main road after parking by pool just to get to our room, it was awful. Room service forgot things we requested like toilet paper and Kleenex.

The hotel is very nice but there were issues. They helped us get our luggae up to the room since the elevator was not able to be used due construction the first night and 1/2 the next day
1. On check in they did not tell us there was nor maid service or how we were to get towels and other neccessaries' we are take our own trash to the dumpster
pickup towels and such at the office. because we were site seeing when the times they room delevery was prfetty limited
2. New paint job was sloppy with mirrors and sink with large slop over. the connecting doors were painted shut. I had to help get it open.
3. the night before we left the heater stopped working so in the middle of packing we had to deal with this. THey did open the connect room thgat had a fireplace so we coulkd cleep with dome heat. This room also had heater failure. Nn compensation offerred for these issuse.

Bathroom -Tub wasn't cleaned slippery pain to get in out of shower. Fixtures were cheap and installed backwards. Toilet wasn't installed to code. Paint on the new floors and fireplace gave dirty appearance. Lighting was inadequate and barely functional. Right on the corner so you can experience vehicle noise. Pool was closed ugh!
Man ist innerhalb 5 Minuten fußläufig mitten im Geschehen. Gatlinburg ist schon ein süsses Städtchen. Zimmer war sauber.
Das Personal könnte etwas freundlicher sein. Das Zimmer glich eher einer Dunkelkammer mit wenig Lichtquellen. Das Frühstück war nur zum Mitnehmen.

Poor lighting in the room. The floors were very dirty. They was doing construction and couldn't park near our room to unload our luggage.
Very convenient location to the entrance for the smoky mountain national park and on the edge of the Gatlinburg craziness. Everything in walking distance if you choose to explore Gatlinburg and quiet location.
