It was overall pleasant and I would recommend.
Pros:

The cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The breakfast options aren't very gluten free friendly and the things I could eat were not very good. The eggs were ok but the bacon was way overcooked.

Great stay overall but breakfast could have been better
Pros:

We stayed at the Homewood Suites for the weekend of 7/26–7/28. Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly, and our experience was positive.

The breakfast offered a good variety of items. However, as someone who doesn’t eat pork, I was disappointed that there wasn’t a non-pork breakfast meat option. Both mornings, the only meat served was chorizo with potatoes, so it would have been nice to have an alternative.

I also noticed something concerning during breakfast on 7/28. One of the kitchen staff members, a young woman with short red hair, refilled the food on two separate occasions without wearing gloves. Proper food handling is important, and I believe staff should wear gloves when handling and replenishing food to help maintain food safety standards.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I hope these issues are addressed to make the experience even better for future guests.

Pros:

We were given a wonderful upgrade on arrival that allowed our adult children to share a two bed and two bath suite. Our room was a double suite and quite comfortable. The full kitchen and separate living room were great! The included breakfast was good also.
