Exceptionally beautiful small hotel with personal touch, fantastic restaurant with creative chef

Cons:

There is a construction site on one side- would prefer to be placed in different room on the other side of the building. If none of the rooms were available, I would prefer to be told ahead- so I am not awaken by the construction machines in the morning.

Ruhige Lage etwas außerhalb der quirligen Stadt. Gute ansprechende Zimmerausstattung. Das beste Frühstück auf unserer Rundreise. Tolles Essen im Restaurant und schöne Bar

Vor dem Zimmer brummte die Lüftungsanlage des benachbarten Hotels. Der Teppichboden im Frühstücksraum hat schon zu viele Frühstücke erlebt und fördert den Appetit nicht

Ein Bijou von einem Hotel hinter einer unscheinbaren Fassade. Unbedingt anschauen.
Pros:

Dieses Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Von aussen sieht es (Irisch typisch) unscheinbar aus. Sobald man das Haus betritt, wird man von einem sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Interieur überrascht. Hübsche Bilder, schöne Kunst, zum Verweilen einladende Sofas, kleine Bibliotheken usw.
Das Essen ist hervorragend! Sowohl das Frühstück (excellente Gebäcke (pastries)) als auch das Mittags- oder Nachtessen. Der catch of the day war fantastisch.
Das Personal ist ausserordentlich freundlich. Auch die Besitzerin hilft aktiv mit und das spürt man.
Grosses Zimmer (wir hatten das Luxury Alder Room) mit grossem und hellem Badezimmer (allerdings kein Fenster im Badezimmer).
Kostenloses parking.

A nice old fashioned feeling hotel, conveniently placed.
Pros:

The breakfast was fabulous! There was an amazing choice and the service professional and friendly. The hotel is very conveniently placed, just a very short walk, from the Convention Centre.

Cons:

Anything disturbs my sleep so the noise from the main road outside was a problem.

We were told at check-in breakfast could be taken to-go. The day before we left we asked if we could arrange for our breakfast to go, due to an early airport departure. We were told no as the kitchen wasn’t open when we were leaving (around 0700). As we brought our room cards down the next morning we saw some other folks were enjoying an early 7am breakfast…

Es ist eine sehr niedliche Unterkunft und sehr nett eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Allerdings wird man am Tisch bedient und muss somit etwas mehr Zeit einplanen. Die Lage ist perfekt um von dort aus zum Ring of Kerry oder Gap of Dunloe zu starten. Das Restaurant ist relativ teuer, aber es gibt genug Möglichkeiten zum Essen vor Ort die man zu Fuß oder in ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichen kann. Genügend kostenlose Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Central clean and comfortable

Cons:

Rooms could have been a little bit warmer. Continental breakfast should have been a buffet. Tea and coffee on the room are in the closet and not visible. Without a pool or gym it’s on the more expensive side but overall it’s a lovely hotel, great staff, clean and comfortable
