The room was very comfortable and the breakfast option was a great value. I liked the location - close to town but not too close.
The internet was weak - look...it's 2026 - I can't tolerate spotty Wi-fi, it's almost inexcusable.
When i checked in i told the lady that i was paying in cash and she took my credit card with in seconds of me saying I wanted to pay in cash. She said she needed to validate my card and she put the payment through on my card.

Wowwww what an absolutely fantastic experience! The staff here are just so gorgeous and kind. My 10 month old and I were here by ourselves from Australia and we’re travelling alone and the tram were just beautiful. So helpful, so kind. Maura, Paul and Norma in particular were beyond kind and went out of their way for me. The rooms were lovely, the location was ideal within a fantastic proximity of the national park and the ring of Kerry. Great value and a lovely experience.

A high quality hotel,very conveniently located on the Muckross Road,convenient to Killarney town and most of the main attractions.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful,and immaculately turned out at all times.
Our room was very spacious,with lots of room for storage,with the bathroom also having lots of space,more than would be the case in most hotel rooms.
Furnishings in the room were of a high quality,which was great when relaxation was required.
Breakfast was cooked to order and was to a very high quality,complimented by a magnificent service staff.
I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful property, right opposite the reserve - lovely rooms and breakfast.
But all rooms are great due to configuration- but what makes this hotel stand out is that they really listen to any issues you may have .
Suggest renting bikes right next door and doing muckross and the house and abbey by bike- wonderful day out !
You can walk into town and cab back - but parking was not an issue in town as many people said it would be
The owner is very hands on and helpful.
We did the lake cruise - not our favourite - better to be walking or biking in reserve
