Good location with lots of choice for breakfast.
Pros:

In quiet location within easy walking distance of the port.

Cons:

Can hear the internal noises of people in their rooms and on terraces around us. Bed uncomfortably hard.

tiene una terraza para desayunas que es muy linda. la atención del personal es muy atenta. la ubicación es buena. Tiene una playa privada muy buena. Con un servico excelente.

Cons:

El hotel esta un poco viejo. Le falta modernizarse. Sobre todo la parte de pasillos y algo la habitacion. Pero en esterminos generales esta muy bien.

Cons:

Ужасный старый прокуренный отель, в котором невозможно находиться! Была сделана бронь на 3 ночи. Мы заехали и были в ужасе от этого старья, которое стоит в полтора раза дороже видовых недорогих отелей Амальфи. Мы были вынуждены параллельно забронировать другой прекрасный отель ровно в 2 раза дешевле этого ужаса (Авроры), в который заехали. Одну ночь мы кое-как переночевали в «Авроре», так как день в день не было вариантов размещения и в 09.00 утра следующего дня съехали из «Авроры». Но оставили чемоданы и машину на парковке. Денег за отмену брони все равно бы никто не вернул. Мы наплевали на потерянные оплаченные деньги и уехали в другой отель (Виста Амальфи). Спать в прокуренной «Авроре» невозможно. Мы не курим совсем, для нас это был ужас. Плюс кондиционер работал настолько громко, что невозможно заснуть вообще. Категория номера с частичным видом на море, где указано четко на букинге, что с балконом (!) якобы в отеле может быть и без балкона! У нас был четко заявлен балкон по описанию, которого не было. Вид на море - это ужас вообще. Этот вид на речку-вонючку напоминает и впереди мертвые деревья. Вот такой вид из окна. Еще раз повторюсь, в этом ужасном отеле настолько невозможно было находиться, что мы сделали другую бронь и уехали. Вход на позорный кусок пляжа, принадлежащий отелю «Аврора» - 40 евро. Когда в центре Амальфи красивый пляж с хорошими оборудованными лежаками по 30-35 евро за комплект (2 лежака и зонт). Хотите испортить себе отпуск - едьте в «Аврору». На фото вид из окна + на их кусок пляжа, который они предлагают за 40 евро.

Super Lage, von unserem Zimmer direkter Blick auf das Meer, sehr ruhig, sehr gutes Frühstück, schon etwas ältere Zimmer, jedoch sehr sauber und gepflegt!
Personal durchgehend sehr freundlich

No value, no amenities, certainly not a 4-star hotel
Cons:

The photo of the pool is misleading. When a hotel displays a pool, the general understanding is that the hotel includes a pool. When we arrived we were told that the “pool” was reserved for only a certain class of rooms. Turns out the so-called “pool” is a tiny jacuzzi.

There aren’t basic amenities at this hotel. No one was even able to assist us in getting our bags down the staircases when we left. The nighttime person at the desk said he couldn’t lift bags. We had to drag them all down the staircases ourselves.

The return taxi the hotel scheduled to pick us up from a concert in Ravello never showed up. When I reached out to the hotel several times, no one responded for close to one hour. We had to scramble to find a taxi when everyone else leaving the concert needed one too.

Despite several conversations with the front desk, no one thought to advise us that taxis cannot pick up from the hotel in the early mornings and can only pick up from the main square, so we were late for our flight, running with our suitcases and bags to meet the driver in the square.

And they charge 40 euros for access to a rocky slab of beach.

Overall, though wonderful.
Pros:

Excellent location and property. The staff were lovely, helpful, and kind.

Cons:

The only criticism was that the breakfast was disappointing for a hotel of that caliber. Selections were limited and not kept well supplied. I travel a lot through Italy and this should have been better.

The location suited our plans, but otherwise it was our mistake to chose Hotel Aurora.
Pros:

The location of the property well suited our to hike the Path of the Gods and the Path of Lemons.

Cons:

The 4-star rating is over-stated and undeserved. The staff member, a lady, on the daytime shift at Reception was rude and obnoxious and only performed her duties grudgingly after being pressed. All the other staff members were polite and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Amalfi best pick!
Pros:

Everything!!! The staff super friendly and professional. The hotel is clean, nice and located at beach level so no stairs to access the hotel. Blocks away from the heart of Amalfi but no noise to be disturbed.
