Pros:

Close to everything. Was able to walk everywhere.

Cons:

Our room had a view of other rooms. Lighting was not very bright in our room.

Almost everything. Clean, comfortable, well kept, and the stay went exactly as it should. No complaints about the staff, the room, or the value.

Cons:

Two small things, neither of which would stop me booking again.

There was a stray hair left on the bathroom wall — a minor housekeeping miss, but the kind of detail that's easy to catch.

The air conditioner was noisy and difficult to control. The remote registered maybe one press in five, so turning it off took real effort. There was also no fan speed adjustment — it runs at one setting or not at all.

Everything else was excellent.

We love Backbay and this is the ideal hotel to explore this amazing area of Boston.
Pros:

Friendly staff, great location to explore Backbay, clean and welcoming

Cons:

Breakfast was expensive for what it was - preferred Tatte down the road.
