We love Backbay and this is the ideal hotel to explore this amazing area of Boston.
Pros:

Friendly staff, great location to explore Backbay, clean and welcoming

Cons:

Breakfast was expensive for what it was - preferred Tatte down the road.

Great location for Boston Common, History trail and Kenmore Square if you don’t mind walking. Clean facilities. Friendly

I think the bed was a double. Small. They had rooms ready to check in before 4pm but charged $50 to check in before 4pm

Great Hotel in a great location!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at AKA Back Bay and I would absolutely stay again! From the amazing staff, to the great location and the hotel in general; all are wonderful!

Amazing stay at AKA
Pros:

We enjoyed our 2-night stay at AKA Backbay. The location is very convenient, walkable to Newbury, and close to the T. There were a lot of restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The room is clean and spacious, and the bed is comfortable. The staff were amazing and accommodating. We were able to check in early and stay a few minutes later since our train is leaving after the checkout time. My daughter lost her sweatshirt during the trip and the reception desk staff went out of their way to help us locate it. We did not find it but it was nice to feel that they cared. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Pros:

Highly recommended! Beautiful, clean and convenient hotel. Walking distance to landmarks. Excellent bar/restaurant attached to hotel, make sure to give $1 oysters a try!
