Pros:

Our suite was comfortable and spacious. Good location for exploring the village and the nearby attractions. The free shuttle was great!

Cons:

The bathroom towels were so harsh and rough even for my husband. The bottles that hold shampoo, conditioner, etc had very narrow spouts/pumps. Took a lot of effort to get them out.

Cons:

The only issue was a room telephone that was dead. That meant we weren't able to contact the front desk. Otherwise, all went well.

Upset that Booking. Com had failed to update Pan Pacific on my reservation that resulted in hour delay in my check in process . Come on do BETTER-Booking.com

Good location. Free EV charging on site. Decent amenities like the pool and gym

Cons:

The heating/cooling system is nonsensical. The gas fire came on randomly even when the room was warm regardless of the temperature we set on the thermostat. Also the 2 hour limit on the free EV charging didn’t seem to be enforced, which was frustrating when I wanted to charge and cars had been parked there all day. Rooms are a little dated.

Pros:

The location is perfect & parking is a bonus.

Cons:

We paid extra for an upper floor suite with mountain views and a balcony. The view was actually the swimming pool of a nearby hotel with the tops of the mountain behind. The balcony was laughable, just about one chair would fit on it and the view & odour of the Aircon of the room below was quite unpleasant.

Wonderful stay!
Pros:

Clean and convenient location close to Village stroll
Nice location with prime view of the mountainside

Cons:

LOUD music from the Lonestar Bar but thankful that they shut it down at just after 10 pm
Also, people shouting out on the street behind the hotel till 2 am so that unfortunately wasn’t good

The kids were looking forward to breakfast like the site indicated but were deeply disappointed to find it was not available as well as no hot chocolate bar which was honestly the highlight for them when staying at the pan pacific

Nice if you’re there to party but with constant blaring music right outside - not relaxing.
Pros:

Like the studio apartment and the shuttle service around Whistler which we used to go for a meal on creakside.

Cons:

So noisy - all day. Music absolutely blaring from the bars outside that there was no sense of being able to relax from lunchtime on. Even though the hotel itself was fine I would never stay again because of this. We wanted a relaxing weekend. This is not the spot for that.

Excellent sound proofing(could only hear the revelry at the Longhorn Saloon if you opened the balcony door), outstanding location of course, with step out the door access to lifts and great ski room. Loved the suite floor plan and housekeeping was attuned to how we shifted the bedding for preference and made up the beds with that in mind. Staff were personable, professional and went the ext4- mile to help if any need was brought to their attention.

Cons:

The room had a strong chemical cleaning smell that didn’t dissipate even with opening the balcony door for a lot of the time we were there. Not really the fault of the hotel that it took us overnight to get the temperature overnight figured so the fireplace didn’t make us sweat all night. The directions had been placed in front of us from the start, we just had to use it.

Great stay at Pan Pacific Mountainside, Whistler
Pros:

This is our 2nd time in Pan Pacific and it did not disappoint. Check-in process was fast, they have everything ready when we arrived. We were escorted by Crispin at the reception and introduced us to FO. Great turn over. Luggage was delivered to in our room quite fast too. Everything in the room was clean and crisp. Love the height of the bed. It was very convenient too that we have the sofa bed, which is very spacious, for our friend to stay at. Having a kitchen with complete equipment and appliances also made our stay comfortable too. As they are at the prime location, everything is accessible - restaurants, outdoor activities, and shops. I hope they have more food and beverage options within the hotel just for late night snacks. Speedy check-out too. Parking was given comp at this time which we appreciate!
