Lovely stay and loved our walks each morning on the beach.

Loved the location. Good facilities with pools.

Cons:

No elevator to top floors so had to carry bags. Not disability friendly.

Wouldn't book again during school holidays.
Pros:

The lobby was super welcoming and the staff were lovely. Location was handy with the shuttle bus only a call away, and reasonably priced to take you into town and bring you back. Pool was really nice.

Cons:

The hotel was really, really loud. Our room shared an entry door with another room and they were constantly in/out/yelling at their kids, slamming the door etc. and because the pool was in the middle of the hotel, the noise travelled a lot. The room was a lot smaller than we expected for the price we paid.

It was a lovely location, but the rooms need an update, with added bathroom exhausts
Pros:

The pool area was nice, the pool bar staff hard working at happy hour

Cons:

No change of towels and cleaning of the room daily! I have never come across this before!

Paradise at Port Douglas
Pros:

The properly is located a ten minute walk from the shops/restaurants. You can walk the main road or just along the beach.
The swimming pool is ginormous. It’s cold. It was perfect on hot days but not great on cold days (we were there in July).
The staff are lovely and very helpful.
The continental breakfast is actually pretty good and convenient location.
Photo is the short walk to the beach.

Cons:

There are no stairs which isn’t a problem but if you have kids / pram / can’t do stairs then request to be on the bottom floor.
The apartment could be a bit more cleaner like if you move a bed or a table which you do with kids but otherwise it was good.
