We absolutely enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived, the welcome and check-in were perfect — warm, friendly, and so smooth. We were even greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine in the room, and a welcome card which was such a lovely touch.
The room itself was cozy and comfortable. Everything felt thoughtfully done, and it was easy to just relax and feel at home. Food was delicious, expect for the hour long wait. Once it came though, it was delicious and full of flavor. Overall, it’s a boutique hotel that nails comfort, style, and hospitality. I’d absolutely stay again.
The hotel is located on a busy street, but the noise is not a problem at all. With an uber the Waterfront is less than five minutes away. The staff are incredibly friendly and sorted us with pack breakfasts when we had to leave early for tours around the peninsula. The breakfast is great and there is an option to have dinner too. Our room was clean and spacious.

Our room smelled like it had been a smokers room in the past. It was fine for one night. Our kids' room smelled fine, but it was across from the elevator and guests were incredibly loud until after 2am. There were events happening in the hotel the night of our stay, and if we had known that, we would have looked elsewhere as we had to leave very early for the airport.
Me and my wife had so much fun from arriving 5am in the morning to our check out . We love that the Hotel is close and central to all the attractions like Table Mountain and the Waterfront. I would definitely recommend Grand Daddy Boutique Hotel for anyone who needs a safe and clean place to sleep not planning on staying in the hotel but exploring was easy and convenient

The hotel is downtown within walking distance to everything. Just didn't realize that Capetown after dark is not someplace you want to walk.

We weere fine
The welcome from the reception team was fantastic. Every member of staff we encountered was a delight!
The continental part of the breakfast was missing in part, maybe even lacking. It wasn't the best. However the cooked part that you order was absolutely delicious. The coffee was also of very high quality.
The staff were amazing! The hotel has so much character and is so authentic. Loved everything about the stay! They were very helpful. Parking was right by the hotel in a lockup garage.

Very old and dated, more attention needs to be paid by housekeeping. There was some horrid looking brown stuff on the toilet walls, they told me it was rust, I wasn’t convinced.
The food was great. The staff so helpful and nice. The rooms were clean. Location was good for walking. We are staying one night again after our touran l9oking forward to it.
I cannot find fault with this hotel
