Pros:

The staff were so warm and friendly and really were welcoming. Great location in a fabulous part of the world. Were very relaxed about my dog and he was given treats so he was happy as well. Nice clean room with all the facilities necessary.

Okay for a short 4 day stay.
Pros:

Location, views from the terrace, room decoration, comfort and very pet friendly as were the staff. Lots of parking.

Cons:

Door lock was faulty and worrying if a fire broke out, room 11. After a few days there was an odd smell in the room. Found a Pizza box with a slice of Pizza in the top cupboard! Bathroom was a good size but the sink and toilet were too close to the walls in my room, I hit my head of the glass shelf. The shower door at the base needed cleaning more thoroughly, a bit of bleach might help. I had one meal of sausage, mash, peas and onion gravy. Sausages were good mash and gravy were tasteless and gloopy. Not a piece of onion to be seen.

A brilliant location for a relaxing weekend, giving excellent value for money.
Pros:

The beautiful setting, ideal for a „chill out“ break. The relaxed dining experience and the vast Full English breakfast buffet. The cosy bar with Hawkstone on draught.

Food in the evening poorly cooked and no salad with starters when stated there was. Staff seemed to be here there and everywhere a bit chaotic

Beautiful views
Pros:

We loved the views from the front of the hotel. Great selection of beers. We had a room at the back overlooking the car park but a patio area to sit outside with imitation grass but a bonus

Cons:

4 adults had evening meal i did not enjoy my fish and chips as undercooked batter husband felt the same others had lasagne and did not enjoy.
