The rude morning front desk women
Pros:

The jetted tub on the 1st floor

Cons:

The front desk women was completely uncooperative and rude. They didn't have a ash tray by the door outside so we threw are butts in a cup with water and threw them away in the trash. I made they mistake of throwing them away in our room. I guess we would've been better if we threw them on the ground. I don't litter but that was a big mistake I made and they took our $100.00 dollar deposit. I was shocked! I tried to explain and she threated to call the police. She didn't even seem to hear me at all.

Clean stay in nice area
Pros:

The staff was friendly and responsive. We had an issue with loud neighbors at 3am and they responded quickly and decisively. Staff was available and attentive throughout our stay as well.

Cons:

The location was a bit further removed from downtown than we would have liked, but was considerably less expensive. But being less expensive doesn't mean they were cheap either - we still think we overpaid but the economy right now is ridiculous. And we've been coming to Grand Rapids for several years so we have prior years for direct comparison.

Pros:

Location was convenient, close to restaurants and services, just off the major highway. My room was clean, quiet, and everything worked. Staff were efficient and professional.
Perfect for last night before flight home to organize after a road trip.

The Breakfast was good but not great.

Cons:

We would have loved it if the facility had a pool and hottub but we were happy to do without given the reasonable price.

Overall a nice stay.
Pros:

Clean, comfortable, and good location for me.

Cons:

Tub has slow drain so water was almost up to my ankles while showering. Lights in the room were not bright enough over the sink to see to put makeup on and in the main room the full size mirror couldn’t be used as it no light near it and couldn’t see yourself well.

Pros:

there was nothing particularly special about the facility...neither especially good or bad. In todays market, the best part was an +/- $ 80.00 room rate. We got what we paid for (this is not meant as a negative ) We will come again.
