the location and staff
the room was very different than the website photos and because the building is very old, even though there was a sign to explain that hot water might take a while to reach our room, no matter how long we waited for it to arrive both nights of our stay it never did and had to shower with cold water
the other thing was that the room had a damp smell and also, due to the shared toilets one of the corridors smelt horrible after it was used by a guest
Location was good
No hot water in the room. No car park and near by paid car park is expensive. Very small cramped rooms.

The stay was absolutely lovely - I cannot complain about the price, or the stay itself ❤️ Only issue was trying to get up 5 flights of stairs after a few glasses of wine 😂

Taking a very old building and making it so comfortable was impressive and amazing
Shower had low pressure is all I can say but the buildings over 200 years old do this is me being picky

The room was lovely, clean, and spacious. The location couldn't have been better, everything seemed to be exactly where I wanted it to be. For the price paid, it felt less like booking a room and more like accidentally stumbling across a clerical error in my favour. Outstanding value for money.
Great price, almost suspiciously good, as it turns out, there is a small "price to pay." If you're in a rush first thing in the morning and hoping for a quick hot shower, prepare for an invigorating encounter with the laws of thermodynamics. Despite patiently waiting for over 10 minutes, the water never quite graduates beyond "refreshingly brisk." Consider it a complimentary wake-up call included with your stay.
The room is really big and nice.
The heater when the weather is already hot they open the heat i don't like that. otherwise all service is very good.
