The hotel is centrally located in Saint Germain and I encourage you to stay there.
Pros:

The whole staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay there.

Professional staff, nice accommodations, but high price for no amenities outside of the room.
Pros:

The area it is located in is very high-end. The suite and bathroom were a nice size. The linens were of good quality. We were provided robes, but not slippers. The next hotel we stayed at provided both, which was a nice touch. Rafael and the staff were very accommodating and polite.

Cons:

I had to provide my flight information and time of arrival when I made the reservation. In hindsight, I am not sure why, if the room wasn't going to be ready at that time anyway. I would have liked to check in upon arrival. We had an overnight 8-hour flight. When we arrived, we were told that the room would be ready in an hour and a half. So we left and occupied ourselves, waiting for the room. When we returned, we still had to wait another 30 minutes. We were exhausted, and we would have liked to lie down upon arrival. On our third day, we went to Versailles, where we stayed at the Le Louis Hotel. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. Check-in was simple, and the keys were immediately handed to us. We both commented on how nice it would have been to have it right after our long flight. Also, the elevators are child-sized. It took 2 trips to get to our room with 2 people and 2 suitcases.

A lovely hotel in Paris
Pros:

This is a fine hotel in the inimitable Saint Germain section of Paris. In a quiet, urbane neighborhood teeming with wow shops and good restaurants within easy walking of the Seine, Musee d’Orsay, Louvre, Les Invalides (with Napoleon’s tomb) and Place du Concorde. Just a great spot.

The hotel itself is lovely with a garden in its lobby and the most helpful, professional staff. Like Paris used to be. They make you feel welcome and want you to enjoy your stay.

It was OK.
Pros:

I had received an upgrade on arrival, but I did not like the room. Thankfully I was moved to the original room the next day. Most of the staff were kind and helpful.

Cons:

Sometimes, the room was not cleaned properly. Dirty cups forgotten in the room, quite a few sockets did not work and they did not replace coffee pods. Little things... Generally OK, but not up to standard for a four stars.
