The front desk agent was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The room was filthy. They had nothing else to give me told me to deal with it on my own with book.
I didn't like the breakfast.
The food selection and presentation were poor. For example, there was no fresh fruit, e.g. melon, berries, grapes. There was no yogurt. Hard boiled eggs, toast, fresh pastries would have been nice. The cream cheese for bagels was in a big tub rather than individual packets. The food that was offered just didn't look appetizing. The coffee was good.
The shower was old and small. In the shower the water pressure was extremely low. There was no heat in the bathroom.
The television was difficult to navigate.
The bed pillows were cheap and uncomfortable.
The staff is amazing! I believe the gentleman that checked me was Ron but not sure, then Christian and also a woman whose name I can’t remember. All three were wonderful.

My room was oddly dark. Not enough lights.
My House phone did not work so I either had to call the hotel from my cell phone or walk down the hallway to the front desk if I have any questions.
I still have no idea what sort of television system and remote control I was dealing with. Christian was kind enough to come to my room in the middle of the night and try to help me with it, but after he left, I still could not figure it out. Just get a normal TV with a normal remote control. It was absolutely terrible.
To be honest with you, it was not worth almost $600 for two nights.

We arrived at night time I was exhausted but wanted to take a shower. The floor in the shower was dirty I notice that when the water started to run dirt and black traces started to go down the drain With the water. Then I notice the blinds were not down and I wanted to put them down so the sun would not hit my face when the sun came up. There was a control that said blinds but I was never able to get it to work. I waited for the next day and reported to the front desk. The next day when I reported the blind situation maintenance came did not even push the buttons on the wall or control just went to look at the blinds on the wall and did not even do anything just turn and said “all be back later”. I had to go to my event and don’t know if they did come back but by the timer I came back from my event the blinds were still not functioning. That was annoying since we did wanted to take time to sleep in with out having the sun hit us in the face. That is why we just decide to not extend our stay and leave the second day.
Great stay! Christal was extremely cheerful, hospitable and accommodating! She was a breath of fresh air after a disastrous check-in experience next door at the Spring Hill Suites (NOT up to Marriott standards). First time visiting Temecula and was in town with friends for a wedding. They stayed at the Spring Hill Suites and said it was very noisy from Highway 15. Our room at the Hampton Inn was clean and QUIET. We were on the 3rd floor on the back side. It was a blessing in disguise and was very convenient to everything we were interested in doing.
From the moment I entered my room, I noticed a handprint on the full-length mirror near the TV area. It immediately made the room feel not fully cleaned. I also found spots on one of the towels and the bath rug did not appear clean.
I attempted to contact the front desk through the app messaging system (which I’ve used successfully at other hotels), but I never received a response. I tried again the following morning with the same result. When I spoke with the front desk in person, I was told housekeeping is only provided every other day, and was offered a refresh (towels and trash), which did not address the cleanliness concerns.
Later that day, I noticed food debris under the air-conditioning unit, despite not eating in the room. This further raised concerns about whether the room had been properly cleaned prior to my arrival.
The next morning, I spoke with another staff member, Maria, who was very kind and helpful. After that, the mirror and debris were addressed. I appreciated her effort and professionalism.
However, overall, the room still did not feel clean. There were visible spots on surfaces like the microwave and refrigerator, and the bath rug continued to look worn and unclean even after being replaced.
Between the lack of response through the app, inconsistent housekeeping, and overall condition of the room, this is not a property I would choose to stay at again. The only positive part of my experience was the assistance from Maria.
