Stayed here one night on way to Taos and the location was walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had a few drinks on the patio and were never forgotten about. The room was spacious and clean, bed comfy, and shower was fine. Easy check in and out. Breakfast was fine too, standard stuff which is fine with me. I would stay here agin.
Together with two other couples, we rented rooms at Pinon Court for a few nights just last week. Upon arrival we were very disappointed to learn that the hotel had no real bar or restaurant and the breakfasts that were raved about by others in several reviews on Trip Advisor and other search sites were plain, boring and basically the same you’d find at any discount hotel. The rooms were super small and the overall condition was extremely poor. Obviously, this “motor lodge/motel” is very old and very worn and it shows. We won’t be back!
Clean and spacious room. Had everything you need; coffee pot, ironing board, fridge and microwave. Breakfast choices were great. Front desk staff was friendly.
The hotel's location within easy walking distance to central Santa Fe is very convenient. The breakfast was fine.
The cooling cycle of our room's HVAC unit was not working so the room was uncomfortably warm when we arrived in the afternoon. We went out touring central Santa Fe until the evening. Upon our return in the evening I opened the room's windows, which had screens, and ran the bathroom ceiling fan to draw in outside air to lower the room's temperature to a comfortable level during the night. I advised the person at the reception desk on our departure that the unit likely needed some maintenance. This was a minor issue from my perspective.
Comfortable bed
Good location
Excellent buffet breakfast included
No luggage rack or chair in the room
Excellent location, service and the room was so charming and cozy! Dog friendly too! I stayed two nights in Santa Fe and booked this room for the first night. I wish both nights were here! 10 out of 10 recommend!!
Central, chic and well equipped
Nothing
Beautiful location, large room, helpful staff and very quiet.
We booked this cute boutique hotel last minute. It was basic, but well put together. The location was walking distance to the plaza, many restaurants, and sites. The rooms were beautiful and the bed was comfortable. I even enjoyed the scent of the bath products. The hotel offers a hot breakfast buffet in the morning, which included typical items you would find at any hotel breakfast; but points for convenience, even though we opted to eat off property. Good, cute little clean place to stay!
Separate entrances to a cluster of rooms feel more safe and comfortable
Very clean rooms, pleasant smell, little gas fire place to switch on and off
Fridge and microwave
Modern appliances in the bathroom
Satisfying breakfast

Very convenient location close to everything. Good value for money as well as clean and comfortable and nice decor! I admired the main lobby and dining area for the historic architecture and decor!
Small and convenient
Needed a dresser for clothes
Location of the Pinon is perfect for our first time visit to Santa Fe. Check in was easy, all the staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and very comfortable. The included breakfast was very good with many options; one morning scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, waffles, yogurt, cereal and fresh fruit (cantaloupe, honeydew and strawberries). They also had whole oranges and bananas. The next morning, all the above except French toast instead of biscuits. Would highly recommend this hotel and if ever in the area again will definitely stay at the Pinon by La Fonda!
This is really just a motor lodge. The rooms are outdated and plain. There are no real amenities so it’s a shock they charge a $28/day resort fee. They claim you can use the amenities at their sister hotel but that is several blocks away.
We enjoyed our stay and love the property. We stayed for five days. It is close to everything, with an easy several block walk to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and spacious, not corporate-looking like many chains. The lobby and breakfast area were attractive; you know you are in New Mexico. The breakfast was plentiful, with local choices such as tortillas, salsa, and eggs. There is a beautiful, informative Santa Fe Trail tile mural outside the main office that was fun to read. Our only complaint was the internet service. Very poor in the room (unusable), better in the lobby and breakfast area, where we conducted our work when not hotspoting in our room.
Breakfast was excellent.
The rooms were very dark. There was no overhead lighting in my room and the lamps did not adequately light up the room. You really need to correct this.
