Not recommendable, we will be back in Regensburg, but not to this property
Pros:

The location of this property was about the only reason which speaks for this property. It is whin walking distance to the historic city center. No need for a car or public transport to explore the stunning, beautiful old city center of Regensburg.

Cons:

The building is obviously an old historic building, which, paired with the description of the property as Boutique Hotel, made us choose this property. To our negative surprise, the building made a very run-down impressions, the carpets in the corridor and in our room smelled badly and had stains. The furniture was worn and the laminate came off the wood. The curtain had stains. Electricity plugs at the desk in the room not working, no garbage bin in the bathroom, Cables of TV hang loosely, not properly in a conduit as it should be, Internet slow and cuts out frequently, Room large but not cozy, furniture made the impression to be just dumped in the room, not the slightest concept of interior design

Kurze Wege zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Pros:

Direkte Lage am Dom große kühle Räume mit einer guten Frühstücksauswahl. Netter Biergarten im Innenhof.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any request.

The location is excellent – most of the city's main attractions are within walking distance, making it very easy to explore the area without using public transport.

We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time
Pros:

The hotel is located in the very center of the city, next to the ancient cathedral and the Historical Center. The bed was comfortable and right in the building where the hotel is located there is a wonderful beer restaurant that is worth a visit.
