Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Airport

We were a walk-in after having a terrible experience with a nearby hotel (who shall remain nameless) . They welcomed us, gave us a great room. It was clean and comfortable. They offered refreshments in the lobby area. After my bad experience I was very happy to fine my forever hotel in the Savannah/Pooler area. Thank you to Johnnie B, and the entire staff.

We stay at Hilton Garden Inns 40-50 times a year. They're great with dogs, and it's always nice to stay somewhere that has a restaurant available after a long drive.
The hotel is fine, the staff were fine, the room was nice and big. The restaurant food is basic bar food, though, unlike most of the other HGI dinner menus.
One thing I do not understand is why none of the HGI hotels have proper grab bars in the correct places for the showers and tubs, and this was no exception. The sole grab bar is on the shower head and faucet side; there should be a second grab bar on the opposite side. Instead, if you have balance issues or are elderly, you have to hold onto the towel rack and hope it doesn't come out. And there's no grab bar available from the tub, so getting out is nerve wracking.
The other thing they seem to have neglected globally is a bathroom vent system. I understand it adds to cost, but even in their suites, it doesn't exist.
We would stay here again but lower our expectations accordingly for the food.

The hotel is reasonably close to Savannah and area attractions while providing quick access to the airport. Johnny B at the front desk is exceedingly helpful and friendly. The staff are ALL accommodating and welcoming. the workout room is ample and WiFi is great and strong throughout the property. I’ve stayed at this hotel at least a dozen times and would recommend it.

Great location, the building is clean and nicely decorated. We used the meeting room and appreciated the setup provided. Shaleia Taylor is a great representative, she goes above and beyond to provide quality service.

I wanted to give a special shout of to Ms Cardellia Carter-Singleton who is the front desk manager who assisted me with getting a room at a great business rate after being stranded at the airport due to weather delays. She was professional and went above and beyond during a time on great duress. Not only was she courteous but she arranged to have a Uber pick me up from the airport when the transport van was not working. The room was clean and she even made sure that I received all the benefits of being a Hilton honors member. Way to go to help a distressed traveler feel more at ease!

Very comfortable rooms, well decorated lobby, and very convenient restaurant and bar for meals and drinks. The entire staff was very nice and attentive.
