Läget var utmärkt.

Cons:

Kunde finnas bättre möjligheter att torka kläder och handdukar. Det skotska vädret kan vara vätande. Utrymmet i familjerummet var lite knappt.

No fridge in room. I have medications that require refridgeration. I was uncomfortable leaving them with the front desk.

Will definitely stay again, staff so helpful, breakfast tasty, good selection.
Pros:

Clean, light & airy. Rooms clean, bed & pillows comfortable, lots of room to move, great shower. Had a room at the back of the hotel so nice & quiet. In good location to get to the City.

Pros:

Localização excelente, na divisa entre a Old Town e New Town. Vc faz o melhor das duas a pé! Perto dos melhores restaurantes, pubs e atrações turísticas da cidade. Acessos a todos os modais de transporte a pé. Acomodação confortável, limpa e com excelente atendimento. Ótimo café da manha.

Location was superb and having halal food nearby was a big plus!
Pros:

Loved the location and the staff! Even though the hotel might seem small and congested from the outside, it was very smartly designed and the rooms are decently sized as well!
A lot of halal food options are 7-15 minutes away on foot!

Cons:

It could be a bit more economical but if you’re looking for a hotel with breakfast in Edinburgh city centre, this is the one!

Overpriced for what was offered.
Pros:

Location, staff, breakfast.

Cons:

Hot, stuffy bedroom. Soft mattress that hurt my back. The worst thing was the bar. Awful choices and prices. Why offer a bar if you can't staff and stock it? It would be better to not have one.

Why would anyone pay over £9 for a tin of lukewarm wine when they can walk next door to Tesco Express and buy a full sized cold bottle for £7?

We really enjoyed our stay at Balmacara Hotel. The views and staff made it especially enjoyable. I highly recommend stay

The staff was excellent. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We arrived in Kyle of Lochalsh by train and didn’t have a car so the hotel staff suggested taxi services to get us to the hotel. We arrived late in the evening and were worried about dinner. The staff let us pre-order so they would be sure to have our dinner ready.

We enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners served at the hotel. Laundry service was efficient and reasonably priced.
There is a well-stocked convenience store next to the hotel with friendly staff.
The hotel has an incredible view of Loch Alsh.

Cons:

My only complaint is not the fault of the hotel. It is located a few miles outside the town of Kyle of Lochalsh. If you arrive without a car (as we did) it is difficult to get around for sightseeing. There is a bus service and taxi services available. We didn’t know you have to flag down the bus and it flew right past us.

Pros:

Room was good, also the service. Breakfast was also excellent good lot of variety. The location was apt for connectivity to sightseeing!!

Cons:

The check in and out time, felt that should be streched to total of 24 hrs. Not 3 pm to 11 am.
