Beautiful location to enjoy a relaxing stay.
Dealing with the road closure since we had a car. The staff was very helpful escorting us through a back road but it required some pre-planning for excursions.

Fantastic view from the top of the Douro valley. Beautiful sunset moments. Good organic homegrown food. Only issue was the street closure which means an extra hour of winding roads to get to the estate. Not their fault and they tried their best to find alternative routes
The pool offers a stunning view of the Douro River cutting through the layers of lush, sloped vineyards. The estate beautifully preserves its original historic structures, and the rooms and common areas feel incredibly cozy, natural, and tastefully styled.
We loved the two audio-guided vineyard walks, which were a fantastic way to learn about biodiversity and grape cultivation while soaking in the valley views.

Inês gave us a wonderful wine tasting tour—she was so cheerful, passionate, and attentive, you would never guess it was her very first tour! At the restaurant, Sommelier Marco was incredibly professional, using his deep knowledge to pair wines that took our delicious dinner to another level. The front desk team was also super helpful and efficient throughout our stay.
Stay 2 nights to fully enjoy the whole experience !

A estrada para lá, várias estradas cortadas que não aparecem no gps as alternativas, demoramos 1:40h a mais do que o suposto para lá chegar, o que nos fez perder parte da experiência e fez com que e experiência não fosse tão boa.
L’authenticité, la décoration soignée, le cadre exceptionnel, la vue sur le Douro et le paysage à couper le souffle, la piscine à débordement avec vue, le restaurant qui propose des plats originaux et succulents, la gentillesse du personnel très chaleureux, l’accueil …

We only had lunch here, and I will say this idyllic place has one of the most amazing views we experienced in the Douro Valley. Our food and wine were great, and we spent some time just taking in the breath taking views. We were on a tour so I’m not even sure how we got there, but it was worth it.

Our visit here was exceptional, We were only on a one night stay but it was fantastic, truely enjoyable and stunning location. We did a couple of tastings, our host was fabulous, really knowledgeable and was super helpful on explaining the grapes, the process and history of the Vinyard and the range of products they produce. Dinner all I will say is have the game pie, the flavours without it being heavy. I Breakfast was lovely and the resturant is a very calming space. You can hike the Vinyards , the audio guides on the way are a nice added touch. The view from the pool words cannot describe, truely picturesque even on a cloudy day. Must visit the shop before departing!!!
Beautiful property with high end facilities and fresh farm to table food. Staff were very kind and accommodating- always willing to help make your stay the best possible. Top thing is the stunning infinite pool looking over the Duoro Valley. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
