This is a historic building, hence not all rooms have windows. There are 3 floors and no elevator.
Dogs are allowed on request, at an extra cost of USD 24 per night please specify in request the size, weight and the bread of the dog, please ask for hotel pet policy. Please note that Hotel CasAntica does not have any special facilities for pets, and therefore they must remain in the same room as the guest.

Everything is very outdated. Yes, there are lots of nice decor details to check out, but the street it's on is very loud and the bathroom was just pretty unpleasant to be honest

The property looks very different from the pictures online. It appears much older and not as well maintained as advertised. The beds did not look clean, and it seems like the towels may have been previously used and not replaced.
I’m also very concerned about the security of the property. The entrance door can easily be opened and closed, which makes it seem like anyone could enter at any time. Overall, the condition and cleanliness of the property did not meet my expectations based on the online listing.
The staff was not friendly at all. They told me that I have to pay 250 pesos extra for the crib which was not disclosed and that every other person that comes with me is 300 pesos more at the end of the day is not about the money. It’s about the way they make you sign a disclosure that is in Spanish so if you don’t speak the language, they don’t have in English and they don’t allow you to take a picture for your security
El hotel está muy bonito, es un edificio colonial, según dice en la información, e incluye todo tipo de artefactos en los pasillos para admirar mientras caminas dentro.
No usamos la piscina, pero es un gran plus que tenga una piscina disponible.
Las habitaciones me parecieron un poco pequeñas, en una de ellas había cierto olor a humedad en el ropero.
Aunque es cierto que el hotel cuenta con estacionamiento, este no está en el mismo edificio, hay que caminar un par de calles, pero además hay que avisar a la gerencia del hotel si se va a sacar el carro.
En cierto horario cuentan con valet parking, pero cuando ya no está trabajando puede ser muy tardado sacar los vehículos. El horario en el que ya no se puede entrar o salir del estacionamiento es a las 8:30PM, algo limitado considerando la cantidad de actividades nocturnas que se pueden hacer en la ciudad, cuidado con ese detalle al reservar

What makes this hotel stand out is its helpful and friendly personnel plus its location, as a group it was practical for different ages to enjoy the city at custom tastes and still catch up easily throughout the day.
As a big group we stayed in “deluxe double”, “triple room” and “family room” on the ground and first floors, whilst the rooms size obviously vary according to what you pay within limits of a downtown historic building, in all cases the shower rooms felt outdated. The swimming pool was convenient for guests children, could improve the cleaning times.

Las habitaciones
Nosotras hicimos una reservación de última hr con ellos en fechas de Guelaguetza y al llegar al alojamiento habían tenido sobreventa de habitaciones, pero se encargaron de conseguirnos alojamiento de igual o mejor categoría, a pesar de no haber estado en el hotel me voy con buen sabor de boca porque definitivamente resuelven. Muy agradecidas con el staff de recepción.

The location was great and the staff was nice
The smell coming from the bathroom was pretty gross, and there was no divider between the main room and the two twin beds in the presidential suite which didn’t allow for privacy.
The location was great and walkable to pretty much everything downtown. There’s a little convenience store just a half a block away their cafeteria or a restaurant had plenty of convenient easy bites and some decent meals which they will deliver to your room. The staff was very accommodating.
The bathroom was quite stinky. It seemed like it was missing a P-trap. Going in the Jacuzzi tub didn’t feel like a good sanitary idea. There was not really hot water in the shower. There was not a door or privacy between the main bed and the small beds in the presidential suite which made it a little hard for privacy sharing that room. Some lights in the room were very cold color and somewhere warm.
