Pros:

From the moment we arrived to check in everything exceeded my expectations. The lady at the front desk was wonderful, and even gave our daughter a children's activity bag.
Our room was spacious and clean with a wonderful view of the castle.
Breakfast was shockingly good. A wide assortment of loose leaf teas was a great start to the day. Food was good and replenished quickly.
Overall a wonderful stay.

Cons:

Only downside was we only stayed one night! Would have been happy to have been there longer.

Pros:

Petit déjeuner copieux. Hôtel très calme.

Cons:

La douche bouchée donc impossible de se laver les cheveux. Salle de bain mal entretenue au niveau des joints de la douche. Salle de bain à rafraîchir. Les 3 marches à descendre pour accéder à la chambre en sortant de l ascenseur.

Buona la posizione e la colazione

Cons:

Purtroppo all'arrivo in struttura e nella sistemazione in stanza , nell'effettuare un secondo rientro nella medesima per aver dimenticato una borsa in auto abbiamo subito un furto.
Nella struttura non vi sono telecamere di sorveglianza, ci sono scale esterne senza chiusure di sicurezza con codici , l'assistenza è stata pressoché inesistente se non un laconico " mi dispiace"
Sappiamo tutti che fare una denuncia di furto in Francia è pressoché una inutile perdita di tempo, se non mastichi perfettamente la lingua fingono di non capirti, sembra strano perfino acqua in inglese non lo capiscono, però cantano tutte le canzoni in inglese...
Non c'è comunque cassetta di sicurezza in camera e pur con chiave elettronica sono facilmente entrati...un dubbio è plausibile....poca cura del cliente

Pleasant, great location for the Classic Rally

Location was good for our visit to Chinon Classic, pool was lovely. Air con throughout the building was very good

Cons:

Pool area would benefit from more sunbeds. Breakfast was chaotic, with no cups, tea, soya milk had gone sour and was bad. Staff didn't seem to know where crockery and cutlery was to replace it and slow to replenish food

Stayed for the Chinon Classic & Fete de Music, but due to the extreme heat we didn't do the latter.
Pros:

The access to the room was made easier, as we had arrived prior to booking in time, this was not a problem.
Plenty of parking, including shaded areas.

Cons:

Having stayed here previously we knew it was a bit of a walk to the centre, however the weather was so hot & humid, it took us twice the time to return to the hotel. NOT the hotels fault we know, but we're getting older by the day !!!

Cons:

Lack of staff, We only ate in the hotel once as the food is adequate if you don't want to walk in town. The lack of tables and chairs outside on the scruffy patio which looks nothing like the photos on the website.

Gutes Ibis styles
Pros:

Wie meistens bei Ibis etwas abseits, Städtchen in 15min zu Fuß erreichbar. Parkplatz direkt am Platz.
Gutes Frühstück, wenig Verpackungsmüll ( Prima), etwas wenig Wurstauswahl, dafür sehr guter Käse, Produkte unter anderem von " Bonne Maman", gute Teeauswahl. Besonders gut fanden wir die inklusive Getränkebar am Eingang mit Wasser ( auch gesprudelt) sowie Kaffee und Teemöglichkeit - bei den Temperaturen sehr willkommen!
Zimmer recht geräumig, ebenso das Bad ( barrierefrei) - Bett für unsere Wünsche wunderbar, sehr gute Matratze, 2erlei Kissen.

Cons:

Schwarzer Schimmel im unteren Bereich der ebenerdigen Dusche, vor allem den Ecken, könnte man sicher verhindern.
