Fair at best. Need to improve smoking smells.
Pros:

Cost effective for last minute need

Cons:

Rooms very dated and dark. Carpet and bedding smelled like years of cigarettes- either from previous smoking rooms or guests that were permeated with the smell. Bedding definitely smelled smoky. Breakfast offered but we had to leave before it started so cannot comment - breakfast starts too late.

Decent place with great amenities.
Pros:

We enjoyed staying at the Hamilton Inn. It has a great pool and hot tub. The beds are comfortable and breakfast was good.

Cons:

It’s an older hotel that could use some fixing. The secondary lock on our door was broken.

Loved the view, staff was very polite, breakfast was nice, pool and hot tub relaxing

Cons:

Having to smell marijuana as my family and I walked the hallways. Informed the staff of the problem. They said they would take care of it but smelled it the entire time of our stay

Pros:

Fantastic beachfront location on our Great Lakes road trip. The Executive Suite gave our family of five plenty of room to spread out, and being right on the water made for great evening walks with the kids. Convenient base for exploring Mackinaw City and getting over to Mackinac Island.

Wonderful place to stay
Pros:

We could walk to the Arnold ferry dock, restaurants and downtown. The staff was friendly, room very clean. We had a view of the water and there was a beach for swimming. The breakfast had a large variety of food, which was very good.

The WiFi kept going in and out

This was a good choice for our trip with five grandsons ages 7 to 13.
Pros:

It was right on the beach and the kids loved the water park that was included in the stay. Convenient to walk to restaurants, ice cream and the arcade.

Fantastic location if needing somewhere to catch a ferry onto Mackinac Island - right next door!! Clean and plenty of ro
Pros:

Rooms were large and plenty of space. Everything was clean and attention to detail was great.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been better. Not a lot of choices and the food ran out whilst in the peak time. We had to keep asking the staff if more was coming out.

Beautiful view of lake Huron from our room

Cons:

Beds were hard, the building is dirty. They need to power wash the exterior. The flyers in the lobby smelled moldy and we advised the staff but they didn't do anything about it.

Pool was dirty, needed to be vacuumed, tons of dirty at the bottom of the pool.

Hotel was advertised as a newer hotel but it definitely could use some work.

Found a huge spider in the bathroom.
