The air conditioning wasn't working in the original room we were given so the very kindly man at the front desk offered us a suite on a lower floor that was super nice. We weren't charged extra, which was very kind of the hotel.
Everything else was wonderful.
It was close and convenient to everything in the village.
It is very outdated. The rooms had peeling stuff coming off the walls. There were stains on the wall. The sink was leaking. The pool area was super dusty. The rinse off showers in the pool area were super dark and dirty. The shower heads looked like they had mold.
They ran out of pool towels and it took almost 24 hours to get more.
We had to ask for our garbage to be taken out, instead of having a place to throw it away ourselves. For a room that sleeps 6, there was no where for all of us to sit and hang out as a family.
We have no breakfast

Full equiped kitchen
Very noisy. Bars outside blast loud music until 2:00AM and drunk people keep screaming under hotel windows until 4AM. Windows and door should be replaced for better soundproofing.
For the expensive price not being able to do the basic thing you expect from a hotel, sleep, is absurd.

The price did not reflect the room. The room smelt very damp
Fantastic location close to all the bars and restaurants. Very comfortable bed. The best front desk service we experienced in 5 weeks of travel.
With the handy central location came a little extra street noise.
The facility was nearly empty yet we were assigned the worst room! It was an odd shaped dingy corner room with a very small window and no balcony.
When we complained we were offered an upgrade at a discounted rate of $50 per night even though the place was almost empty
When we finally got a different room, the sink wouldn’t drain. Also the ice machine was broken.
We could have made ice in the freezer of the refrigerator except it was almost completely iced up.
Also the check in person could barely converse in English and would no give us a room key until 4:00pm even though the place was empty
Thankful a different person was at the desk when we returned at 4:00. We paid full price for parking even though our car was the only vehicle in the garage.
