This is a very good place for the older crowd. You can tell from the pictures that the decor is for a very mature clientele. Nice pool. Clean everything. The restaurant was very accommodating and the staff there were excellent. The cleaning staff was also helpful. The desk staff was meh.
This is a very good place for the older crowd. Then don't allow children on the top floor and the top floor has later checkout. I get having things that are not for children, but I didn't get that from the advertising. The staff at the desk seemed less than warm. Other staff were friendly and helpful.
The location and the restaurant food.
Room was too small. No place to put 2nd suitcase, bathroom way too small, way too many pillows and no where to put them except on the floor. Soda and snack machines way too far away and not easy to locate.

Location and Victorian theme
Everything was fabulous
It was perfect.
The hotel is right on the boardwalk. The staff were all wonderful, from the young man who checked me to the wait staff when I had afternoon tea at the restaurant. The little pool isn't big enough for a real swim, but it was nice to sit in the outside section first thing in the morning and watch the sunrise over the ocean. I had a lovely time staying there and plan to do the same next year.
I thought when I reserved my room, it would be on one of the outer sides of the hotel -- not directly overlooking the ocean but with some oblique view; instead, I was over the inner courtyard. Next time, I will splurge on an oceanfront room to be sure of a view.
Beachfront. A few hundred feet to the waves. Central location right on the Boardwalk.
A tad pricey. Advertising implied an indoor swimming pool not a big jacuzzi.

Cozy, friendly, convenient, hospitality. Love the lobby vibe, the sweet birds, the decor, the staff, the cookies & tea sitting out in the afternoon. Love the ocean front rooms and balconies. Excellent restaurant and pub.
