Mittelmässig zufrieden.

Gefallen hat uns sehr die zentrale Lage.

Cons:

Wir waren schon öffters in Iron Gate. Diesmal aber waren wir nicht sehr zufrieden. Empfang mittelmäßig. Kein Wilkommendrink wie sonst, angeblich davon abhängig was man bucht. Im Zimmer war es Abends sehr kalt. Auf Nachfrage dann ein Heizlüfter in Zimmer, das war ok. Im Bad war die Heizung kalt, nasse Handtücher konnte man nicht trocknen. Kein Bidet, sehr hoher Einstieg in die Wanne zum Duschen, für ältere Gäste nicht so gut geignet. Keine reichliche Kosmetikproduktauswahl wie früher. Das entspricht nicht 5 Sterne Standart. Bei Check-out die große Überraschung. Es wird eine Rechnung presentiert mit unverschämt hohen Service Gebühren, ohne vorher zu fragen ob man damit einverstanden ist. Es wird einfach eine Rechnung ausgedruckt und abkasiert. Das finde ich absolut nicht in Ordnung. Was auch nicht so schön ist die enge Treppe durch die Küche zum Frühstückraum. Wenn es da besetzt ist muss man die heissen Getränke die enge Treppe balancieren in den Wintergarten wo man wirklich sehr schön sitzen kann. Das Frühstück hat uns sehr gut gefallen, grosse Auswahl. Die Speisen könnten aber etwas wärmer sein (Frühstückseier). Sonst sehr schönes Hotel von der Einrichtung und Lage.

Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in Ordnung und für vier Tage durchaus ausreichend.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist natürlich hervorragend, und man merkt durchaus, dass man sich bei vielen Dingen Mühe gegeben hat. Vielleicht liegt es auch ein Stück weit daran, dass wir mittlerweile einfach gewisse Ansprüche haben. Dennoch sind wir der Meinung, dass bei einigen anderen Punkten noch deutlich Luft nach oben ist. Aus unserer Sicht ist hier also noch einiges ausbaufähig.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer war zwar sauber, aber insgesamt sehr beengt und doch deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Besonders die Duschbadewanne machte durch Roststellen keinen guten Eindruck. Hier wäre eine Modernisierung sicherlich angebracht.
Auch beim Frühstück sehen wir noch Luft nach oben. Grundsätzlich war alles vorhanden, allerdings hätten wir uns etwas mehr Abwechslung gewünscht. Wenn über mehrere Tage hinweg jeden Morgen nahezu das gleiche Angebot auf dem Tisch steht, verliert man nach drei oder vier Tagen doch etwas die Lust auf das Frühstück. Schon kleine Veränderungen und wechselnde Angebote würden hier sicherlich viel ausmachen.
Etwas unglücklich fanden wir auch die Abrechnung beim Auschecken. Auf der Rechnung war bereits ein Trinkgeld ausgewiesen. Unserer Meinung nach sollte es dem Gast selbst überlassen bleiben, ob und in welcher Höhe er Trinkgeld geben möchte und wem er dieses zukommen lassen möchte.

Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, dan het restaurant; in een woord voortreffelijk. Locatie is echt super, vlak bij het historisch centrum van de stad.

Det bedste hotel.
Pros:

Super beliggenhed, sødt personale. Restaurant på hotellet var super god, med venlige tjenere, vi blev forkælet af Jan fra deer.

Cons:

Få af de ansatte i Receptionen virkede udkørt.

Wysoka kultura obsługi i czystość w plkoju

Cons:

Codziennie od 8.00 ktoś głośno przesuwa stoliki lub meble w pokojach. Przez 6 dni codziennie. W związku z tym podejrzewamy, że to ekipa sprzątająca. Chyba trzeba podkleić filce pod nogi od mebli, albo delikatniej je traktować bo to jest na dłuższą metę nie do zniesienia. Nie wszyscy wypoczywający wstają o godzinie 7.00😉
Kolejna sprawa to dość słabej jakości poranne śniadania. Mieliśmy je w cenie, ale już po pierwszym razie zrezygnowaliśmy i kupowaliśmy codziennie pyszny hotelowy „DEER” Branch. Często korzystany z usług hoteli 5 gwiazdkowych i przyznam szczerze, że to chyba najskromniejszy wybór dań jakie do tej pory spotkałem. Powiem więcej u nas w Polsce w prywatnych domach z apartamentami serwuje się dużo bogatsze menu śniadaniowe. Noni trzecia sprawa, Iron gate to pIerwszy hotel 5 gwiazdkowy bez strefy SPA. Trochę marudzę, ale nie są to uwagi bezpodstawne to jest rzeczywistość. Pozdrawiam

Würde ich gerne wiederholen, jedoch ein Zimmer mit einer anderen Bad Ausstattung wählen wollen…. Sonst wirklich sehr gut

One of the best hotels in old town Prague
Pros:

This is one of the best hotels in Prague!! Location is amazing about a 2 minute walk to the astronomical clock. Service is superb and efficient . Staff are very friendly and helpful. This is my second time staying at the hotel and it definitely didn’t disappoint. We stayed at the Goliath suite and it is definitely worth every penny.

Front desk staff were not friendly. I had the junior suite and the bathroom was big but sink and shower looked like it was for handicap. Closet also never closed.

Die Lage ist gut.
Zimmer sehr schön. Personal sehr diskret.

Cons:

Leider war das Zimmer strassenseitig und die ganze Nacht Lärm durch feiernde, grölende Leute in Bars.
Parkservice toll, aber teuer.
