The Royal Hotel for Royal Runners!
Pros:

The place is close to the starting point of the Comrades Marathon.
It is also close to many amenities such as the Harbour, Ushaka Marine, Durban International Convention Center, the South Beach and many more.

Also, the hotel sacrificed for us as runners and opened their kitchen at 2h30 for breakfast on the morning of the Comrades Marathon. We ate before going to the race.

Cons:

The fact that the hotel charged me for parking over the amount that I have paid.
Also, every time one goes to the parking he had to park at level 13,making it difficult to access it. The other levels were said to be reserved, yet there were no cars parking.

Rooms are clean and tidy. Towels and all the necessities provided like coffee, shower gel etc. fresh linen and towels everyday. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The Rooms are very big and spacious.

The Location was great. The lifts working well.

The bathrooms a proper disaster. I was served tea with broken tea kattle and cup was old and discolored. The carpets on the floors needs to go, its smelled mouldy. T

Amazing place overall!
