I found it acceptable and will stay there next week when I return home.

Always our go to when we go home to visit. Staff is welcoming letting us have visitors in lobby so we can visit in comfort. Very clean and wonderful breakfast to get the day started.

Great hotel for the cost!
Pros:

I thought the La Quinta in Salem was a great hotel for the money we spent. It wasn't extravagant, but that's not what we were looking for. My girlfriend and I wanted a clean and comfortable hotel and that is exactly what we got.

Cons:

I think the breakfast was rather basic. Maybe add a bit of variety here.
