An exceptionally lovely hotel, stunning setting and wonderful staff.
Pros:

All staff were welcoming and professional, the exact right balance of attentive without being intrusive.
the room was glorious, spacious, well decorated and good quality bedding and towels.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful place
Pros:

Beautiful building, lovely room, very friendly staff, lovely grounds with peacocks. Great breakfast.

Cons:

Inclusive dinner was a little disappointing for me but the rest of my group enjoyed it.
The pool was very pleasant though it’s a shame there’s no hot tub.

Beautiful hotel
Pros:

Booked two nights as we were attending my father’s funeral in the area . We were upgraded to a beautiful room . Thank you so much . Was a lovely surprise at such a difficult time.

A magical and beautiful place
Pros:

All the staff were so friendly. I was a solo traveller for the first time and the staff in the restaurant were so lovely and made, me feel comfortable. Everyne was so friendly and went above and beyond to help when needed. The peacocks that were outside made the experience even more beautiful and the food was amazing and good value.

Great stay, professional staff, it felt special.
Pros:

Loved the mixture of old
Charm and a modern twist.

Cons:

Pool felt a bit dated and could do with an upgrade, steps walking down with a shallow end for the kids would be better and a hot tub would be a great addition. I wouldn’t say it is very accessible as it is.

location, relatively quiet, ambiance, nice bar

Cons:

3 things that IMHO require attention
- housekeeping - you have to "fight" to get your room cleaned - and this will happen only in the late afternoon / evening
- parking bonanza - there are moments when the parking is completely packed - no way you can find a spot not even at the far back
- Wifi quality - some parts of the property do not have WiFi coverage - e.g. the back room of the bar - so impossible to sit down there with a drink and do a little bit of the the work on your laptop

Lovely Hotel in Beautiful Surroundings.
Pros:

Such a warm welcome and helpful from Aslan upon arrival.

The room was comfortable and clean - lovely pillows.
Breakfast was good but felt rushed by staff to finish so they could close on time.

Cons:

Cheap coffee in the room. At this level of accommodation a couple of decent coffee bags would make a huge difference.
