Breakfast was decent but last time I stayed it was definitely better

Lovely room and bathroom, very friendly reception staff. My son was running the half marathon and didn't want a full breakfast and pay £17 just for some toast so they gave it him for free
It was noisy but totally expected for a city centre location on a Saturday night.

Maybe the lift/corridors should be decorated the same. I get the unfinished look but the pink “ undercoat” doesn’t quite work….
Good location and big comfortable bed and spacious bathroom.
The decor or lack of is probably trying to be trendy but in reality is really tacky and depressing. Polyfilla marks left on the wall for example. Some of the flooring outside the room I staying in (208) was so bouncy it was like a trampoline. The exposed pipework and electrical ducts meant there was noise and flashing lights going off all night which was super irritating.
