It was like staying at a creche. £265 for an attic room was not value for many.
Pros:

Very poor. We had travelled around Cornwall and this was a halfway stay. The breakfast was in my option poor quality.

The whole thing.

Beautiful hotel, tranquil, with horses and deers around. Nice quite in the national park location
Pros:

Nice old manor, with nice decor, maintained some old features. We were in a small loft room, a bit cramped, but nice view from small window. Comfortable bed. Bath and hand shower in the wash room. The dinner in the adult restaurant was very nice.

Cons:

For us in our 70’s had a couple of flights of stairs. Just had overnight bag so ok, the staff was good to offer to carry the bag up to the room.

Pros:

The staff were incredible and went the extra mile, especially Jarred he was amazing. We went for my birthday and even the room was decorated to celebrate. Highly recommend!!

Pros:

Staff friendly, helpful and welcomng; decor/ furnishings fresh, attractive and comfortable; spa staff lovely, treatments excellent and facilities clean and attractive. Views from early a.m hot tub memorable. Lovely robes, good towels and toiletries plus flannels! Dinner delicious- good choice of dishes...and breakfast just right! Good coffee Will! Wil definitely go back. 😊

Superbe séjour dans le New Forest ! Cet ancien relai de chasse est très bien rénové et très cosy ! Le personnel est très gentil et professionnel, un grand merci à Jared qui nous a upgradé pour notre séjour et qui a répondu à nos attentes. Le spa est parfait, nous avons adoré notre séjour !

Pros:

We had a very nice time overall and really enjoyed the location. The hotel offers options for children to play, which we appreciated.

Cons:

We were hoping to spend most of our time at the hotel without needing to go elsewhere, but there were hardly any healthy food options for either adults or children. This meant we had to find restaurants nearby, which we hadn’t planned to do.

The breakfast was quite basic not enough of fruit or vegetables, with very limited hot food choices, and overall it didn’t feel like good value considering the price and the standard of the hotel.

Also, three staff members passed by, but none of them said good morning or acknowledged us.

Very friendly and helpful staff in particular the cocktail bar manager who was knowlegeable, clearly enjoyed his role and runs a great set up

A very nice, peaceful, break with great people, food n drink to accompany us!
Pros:

Location was very good with walks around the forest and driving distance to other places. There was also a convenient bus stop right outside so one could use the local transport if necessary. Staff were frindly & wecoming, polite and informative, food was v. good and facilities were good enough to spend time in the hotel without needing to go anywhere else. Even charged my EV overnight.

Cons:

The size of our room could have been a bit bigger but we hardly spend anytime in there so it wasn't a major issue at all.
