An absolute highlight of my travels!

Exceptional and genuinely warm staff – the best hospitality I have experienced in a long time + Breathtaking ocean views and unforgettable sunsets + Beautiful, historic property with lots of charm and cosy fireplaces during winter + Extensive garden grounds with peaceful seating areas + Excellent spa treatments – highly recommend a massage with Zintle (most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences of my life, the prices were also very fair and absolutely worth it) + Delicious food throughout the day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) + Spacious and comfortable room with lovely details + Private terrace with sun loungers and stunning views + In-room bathtub, tea and coffee facilities, and thoughtful extras like hot water bottles + Peaceful atmosphere – the perfect place to relax and unwind + Great value for money

It is a relaxing retreat with amazing staff to welcome you!
Pros:

The main building is an interesting historical building that has been well-maintained with lairs of character. The rest of the facility is modern, so you get the best of both.

Cons:

It was far from the downtown waterfront area. About a 20min drive (but uber is easily accessible).

Pros:

I loved everything about camps bay retreat hotel. The minute we arrived we were warmly greeted and handed a welcome drink. The staff were really attentive and made our stay feel very special. The Manor House is lovely with stunning views from the terrace overlooking the gardens and the sea. You instantly feel calm and relaxed. The food was also really lovely and again the service was superb. We had a three bedroom apartment which was lovely a clean with our own hot tub and patio overlooking the sea. The layout of the hotel is really characterful with a drawbridge and walks down to the natural pool. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation and have been recommending it to lots of people since. The padel court was a brilliant bonus for our 14 and 9 year old. We have stayed in lots of places worldwide and the team here have really created something very unique and special.

Chilled Hotel a short walk from Camp’s Bay
Pros:

Great location, beautifully furnished rooms reached by a rope bridge from the property. Delicious breakfast and a short walk from the Camps Bay strip. Lovely grounds (though the unlit walk to the lower gate is difficult at night)

Cons:

Forest Spa massage is a waste of money. Massages were poor, in a badly heated tent. Hot tub not warm so we were moved to one that was then too hot. Wood fired hot tubs sounds great but does not work in practice - after 3 hours the one in our villa was also still not warm enough to use.

A beautiful and relaxing place to land for a few days while sightseeing in Cape Town.
Pros:

Excellent location - easy to walk into Camps Bay - but honestly the hotel grounds are so stunning it was hard to leave. Loved the swing bridge across the ravine, with views down to the ocean. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast on the porch was lovely.
